Chery Cole Opens Up About Her Private Life & Finding Will.i.am ‘Loveable’
Chery Cole Opens Up About Her Private Life & Finding Will.i.am ‘Loveable’

Cheryl Cole wishes she could ‘switch off’, put her public persona away, and keep her private life away from the headlines.

The ‘Call My Name’ singer finds it difficult being in the public eye because she never gets any time to relax, and wishes she could keep her private life to herself. However, this is no easy task, and Cheryl admits she finds it ‘almost impossible’ to keep her public and private life separate.

She told BBC Newsbeat: “Everybody else has a job and gets to go home for the weekend or switch off after work. Mine? It’s being me. It can sometimes be a hard thing to do.”

Cheryl is all set to embark on her own solo tour of the UK in November, but joked that while she is headlining, her manager - Black Eyed Peas singer Will.i.am - will want a centre stage part.

She laughed: “He’ll be really annoying, have lots of opinions and probably wants to put himself flying down onto the stage somehow at some point to join us on there.”

However, Cheryl never gets upset with Will.i.am and his crazy ideas, even if he can sometimes be difficult to get hold of.

She said: “He takes time to answer his phone. He takes a long time to answer his email. I never get annoyed with him though, he’s too loveable.”

One Direction’s Backstage Antics End In Injury For Niall Horan
One Direction’s Backstage Antics End In Injury For Niall Horan

We knew that there would be plenty of fun backstage as One Direction kick off their US tour.

And now that One Direction have been joined by singer Olly Murs, the backstage tour antics have really kicked off. Last night, the 1D lads were in a hyper mood, pelting each other with toy guns backstage.

Olly Murs tweeted: “Hahaha @Louis_Tomlinson @Real_Liam_Payne its war!! I’m gunna get a Nerf gun lads!! Louis got me right on the back of the head!!” [sic]

As if being pelted in the back of the head with a Nerf gun wasn’t enough, the boys carried on messing around - until Niall Horan hurt his finger.

Liam Payne tweeted a picture of Irish heartthrob Niall with a big plaster strapped across his thumb, along with the caption: “Niall really hurt his thumb.”

However, the fun and games didn’t stop there. Liam Payne then spent the next hour tweeting song titles to his followers so that he and his One Direction fans could listen to the same song at the same time. Aww!

The result was Liam getting very excited, tweeting funny pictures of the boys in their tiny tour bus beds, and retweeting messages from fans saying that they were being told off by neighbours for the loud music.

Beyoncé set for post baby album and tour?

It has been reported that when Beyoncé gives birth she will be getting straight back into the swing of things, with big plans set for 2012. It is believed that Beyoncé will get back into the studio and start work on a new album, which is expected to be released before the end of the year. It is expected that Beyoncé could give birth any day now, even though she claimed that she was due in February. We will just have to wait and see. When do you think Beyoncé will give birth?

Britney Spears admits it’s hard to get motivated to work out

You’d think a tour with skimpy outfits would be enough motivation to keep trim, but Britney Spears has confessed she finds it tough to get motivated to work out.

The mother-of-two revealed a serious weakness for chocolate but admitted that she struggles to work out on a regular basis, telling Stylist magazine: “Trying to get up and go work out in the morning [is hard]. I haven’t worked out in, like, two weeks. Sometimes it’s hard to be motivated. But once you get up and do it you feel like you’ve conquered the world.”
Britney has struggle with her weight, even before she had her first son Sean Preston in 2005, and has received her fair share of criticism as a result. The Toxic singer also confessed she has a sweet tongue, raving about chocolate and sweet treats that she can’t get enough of: ”Chocolate. Definitely chocolate,” she said. “I love Scores, with the caramel in the middle, and every once in a while if I’m really hungry then a Snickers bar is good. And M&Ms are great, Hershey’s Whoppers are great, Raisinettes… Twixes are great, too. And the new Hershey’s Cookies & Cream.”
We recently reported how Britney had failed to sell out for her Femme Fatale tour, despite offers on such sites as Groupon.

Britney Spears’ raunchy Femme Fatale tour hits Birmingham on October 30 but staff at the LG Arena fear empty seats. A ticket seller said: “It’s probably about half-full. There’s good availability.”

There are around 500 tickets left for standing, and 11 whole seat blocks have remaining space, despite a huge slash to the original price of £55, offering fans a ticket for just £30 on sites such as Groupon.
The 29-year-old’s Birmingham show is one of eight UK dates, which were all expected to sell out. Rolling Stone said it was “her flashiest yet”. After a turbulent few years for the star, including a meltdown and rehab, Britney hoped the tour would cement her return to pop’s A-list.

An insider told the Herald that the 23-year-old will arrive for a lavish bash at the Grafton Street venue, which is staying open to the public so fans can catch a glimpse of the Grammy winner. “We’re hosting a night for her and we’re expecting the whole entourage to turn up, including Rihanna herself. Adele contradicts herself over arena tour plans

Adele contradicts herself over arena tour plans

Adele scored an own goal by announcing on stage at the Hammersmith Apollo in London that she has a arena tour planned for early next year.
Adele is being accused of contradicting herself and not paying enough respect to her fans after she gave a rather intense interview to the Guardian newspaper earlier in the year saying “You think I’m gonna play a f*cking arena? Are you out of your mind?’ I’d rather play 12 years at the Barfly than one night at the O2! The thought of an audience that big frightens the life out of me. I don’t think the music would work either. It’s all too slow.”
Many people attach these comments quite heavily with Adele, and she gained even further following for her openness and perceived view that she was not about to sell out and have her supporters pay $20.00 per beer at an arena. But in what was a massive own goal, she announced on stage “this is the last time you’ll catch me at a venue like this. These will be my last theatre dates as I’m moving on to arenas.”.

Kings Of Leon Cancel US Tour
Kings Of Leon Cancel US Tour

As expected the rest of the US tour for the Kings of Leon has been cancelled following the bad press from the weekend when Caleb Followill walked off stage citing illness the band have taken it on themselves to cancel the remainder of their US tour.

A spokesperson for the band said ”We are so sorry to say Kings of Leon are canceling their entire US tour due to Caleb Followill suffering from vocal issues and exhaustion. The band is devastated, but in order to give their fans the shows they deserve, they need to take this break. Unfortunately, the US dates cannot be rescheduled due to the band’s international tour schedule.”

Caleb Followill walked off stage at the Kings of Leon’s last gig saying ”My voice is completely 100-percent wrong, I’m sorry, I’m about to fall down here because I’m so goddamn hot…I’m gonna go backstage for a second. I’m gonna vomit, I’m gonna drink a beer and I’m gonna come back out here and I’m gonna play three more songs.” However, the plot thickened when he never returned. The following day, bassist for the band, Jared Followill issued an apology over the show ending early.

It looks like all fans who had tickets for the now cancelled shows will get an immediate refund, but no promise of a reschedule as the band have a tough schedule on the International stage for the coming year.
