Charlize Theron: ‘Everyone made out with everyone on Snow White set’
Charlize Theron: ‘Everyone made out with everyone on Snow White set’

Charlize Theron has revealed that everyone on the set of ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ ”made out” with each other at some stage, and joked that she sneaked a kiss from Sam Claflin when she pretended to be the titular character as the actor had to kiss her in the movie.

The Hollywood actress, who portrays Queen Ravenna in the fantasy movie alongside Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth and Sam Claflin, joked that she sneaked a smooch from Sam because she pretended to be Snow White when he had to kiss her in the movie.

She told BANG Showbiz: ”We all made out with each other at some stage in the movie because when Sam’s character kisses Snow White it’s actually me in disguise.”

Sam found it a ”dream come true” to be cast in the movie - which sees Snow White attempt to kill her wicked stepmother (Charlize) - because he used to spend hours pretending to be a sword-welding knight when he was a child.

Sam revealed: ”It was somewhat of a dream come true. Growing up I ran around a school playground pretending I was Robin Hood or one of the knights of the round table so getting the chance to wield a sword and smash a few stuntmen was a privilege.”

Kristen Stewart to be killed off in Snow White and the Huntsman?
Kristen Stewart to be killed off in Snow White and the Huntsman?

It seems that there could well be a sequel to the forthcoming Rupert Sanders movie Snow White and the Huntsman but not based around the main character. While you would expect a Snow White and the Huntsman sequel to centre around Snow White, it appears that that is not the case.

Instead, it has been claimed that Universal are looking to develop a sequel around the secondary character the huntsman, who is played by Chris Hemsworth. This has led people to believe that it could mean that Snow White, who is played by Kristen Stewart, will be killed off.

While that is not known and is rather unexpected, it is not out of the question and Ron Meyer of Universal has confirmed that a Snow White and the Huntsman sequel is currently being discussed but that it will most likely be about the huntsman.

Ron explained, “While the [film] doesn’t appear to lend itself to a sequel, Universal thinks it can do more movies based on the character of the huntsman if it is successful.” Snow White and the Huntsman is set to be released on June 1 in both the US and the UK.

Charlize Theron discusses baby boy Jackson

Snow White and the Huntsman actress Charlize Theron shocked quite a few people earlier this year, when she revealed that she had adopted a baby boy called Jackson. Now, Charlize has been discussing her new baby, admitting that she hopes to raise him in a similar way to how she was raised by her mother.

Theron explained to Vogue, “I’ve always been very honest in saying I wanted a family. I’ve always known I wanted a family. I don’t think my mom could wait any more! Jackson is incredible, the greatest gift. He is the coolest kid ever.”

She added, “I hope to be like my mom, fair, tough, loving and supportive. My mom has made it possible for me to be who I am. Our family is everything. Her greatest skill was encouraging me to find my own person and own independence.”

Charlize Theron is next set to appear on the big screen, starring alongside Michael Fassbender, Noomi Rapace, Idris Elba and Guy Pearce, in the Ridley Scott directed movie Prometheus, which is set to be released in the UK on June 1 and then released in the US a week later on June 8.
Florence Welch reveals Snow White and the Huntsman track inspiration
Florence Welch reveals Snow White and the Huntsman track inspiration

Florence and the Machine singer, Florence Welch has revealed to MTV News, that the Charlize Theron character, Queen Revenna was the inspiration behind her song for the Snow White and the Huntsman soundtrack.

Welch explained, “The Queen is just this incredible character; so hungry for life but so dead inside. She’s sort of eternal, but inside there’s nothing. She’s kind of like charcoal or something. [There are] these amazing scenes where she’s kind of picking out birds’ hearts and eating them. [She has] this thirst for youth and for life, but for what kind of life? This darkness, but she’s so beautiful, so it’s this kind of juxtaposition between beauty and, ultimately, death.”

She added, “We went in and demoed the track, these big, clattering drums, huge bass sounds and everything was very intense… and then we sent that to the guys in LA who composed it. And it was amazing to see the music we played being turned into this amazing orchestral thing.”

Florence continued, “You feel in a bit of a way like you’re kind of making it up as you go along, and then when you see it done, laid out before you in such a beautiful, orchestral fashion, it’s really incredible… I love choirs and I love choral music, and there was a 60-piece choir singing the vocal parts that I had written. When the baritones came in, I nearly wept, it was so emotional.”

Rupert Sanders praises Charlize Theron for Snow White and the Huntsman performance
Rupert Sanders praises Charlize Theron for Snow White and the Huntsman performance

Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders, has praised Charlize Theron for her performance as Queen Ravenna in his Snow White adaptation. Rupert admitted that many of the ideas that Charlize had for the character were perfect for making her more believable.

Sanders explained, “I think what we really tried to do is make her a realistic character. It’s a hard character to play because everyone has their perception of what the evil queen is and what the villain should do, but I think what was great about what Charlize wanted to do, is she wanted to find a very believable, very realistic, very wounded character.”

He added, “People who are wounded are much more dangerous. You look at nature, people who are protecting their young, or an animal that is wounded is far more vicious and violent than something that is just strong. And I think that she found this incredible pain within herself that made the brutality of what she was doing far more resonant.”

Snow White and the Huntsman sees Twilight actress Kristen Stewart playing the famous fairytale character, while Chris Hemsworth is playing the huntsman from the title. Charlize Theron rounds things off as the Evil Queen Ravenna, with Rupert Sanders on directing duty.

Chris Hemsworth praises Kristen Stewart Snow White role

Australian actor Chris Hemsworth is set to appear alongside Kristen Stewart later this year, in the Rupert Sanders big screen adaptation of the classic Snow White tale, titled Snow White and the Huntsman. Chris has been talking a little about the movie and has been praising Kristen Stewart in particular for her performance as Snow White.

Hemsworth explained, “She was great. She had a very strong opinion of where she wants to take this character and a real sense of justice. She needed to start off innocent and naive, but get to the point where she’s a hardened warrior and will no longer bow down to the pressure of the Evil Queen.”

Kristen Stewart recently admitted that she had to overcome a number of her fears during the filming of Snow White and the Huntsman, including horse riding. You can catch Chris Hemsworth and Kristen Stewart, starring alongside Charlize Theron as the Evil Queen, in Snow White and the Huntsman, which is set to be released on June 1 in both the US and the UK.

Snow White and the Huntsman actress Kristen Stewart has revealed how she had to face a few of her fears, while filming the Rupert Sanders movie. Kristen had a horse riding accident when she was a young girl, so found the horse riding element of Snow White and the Huntsman quite difficult to deal with.

Stewart explained, “I got to jump off cliffs and ride horses, and that terrifies me. I was really, really not happy about having to do all that [horseback riding]. I don’t like that - I hate that. I fell off a horse once and hurt myself really badly. I broke and dislocated my elbow when I was, like, 9.”

She then went on to admit that she has a lot of admiration for her character Snow White in the upcoming movie Snow White and the Huntsman, claiming that she can relate to what Snow White is feeling in many ways.

Kristen added, “My favourite thing about [Snow White] is that she’s endowed with so much and there’s so much inside her. It’s like she’s brimming. She doesn’t always necessarily know why. I can - in so many different parts of my life - relate to that and love that about her. So it was cool to have that all behind kicking the s**t out of someone.”

Kristen Stewart receives praise from Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders

Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders has revealed how impressed he was with Kristen Stewart while working on the Snow White movie together. Rupert admitted that he was surprised how incredibly talented Kristen is.

Sanders explained, “I think what I realized is that she’s such a good actor that everyone thinks she’s Bella Swan. They believe that that’s her. Obviously, an actor is playing a role. She is nothing like Bella. And, I got on really well with Kristen. It was great. As I was writing stuff, she was there.”

He added, “We had a lot of conversations, seeing through her eyes. We really hard on developing that character together. I was just amazed at her talent, really. She’s incredibly good at her craft. She’s incredibly instinctive. She’s incredibly intuitive. She will overcome fear, like no one I’ve met, when it comes to it.”

Rupert continued, “She didn’t really want to ride a horse. She had a bad horse-riding accident, as a kid. When you’re riding fast on a horse, with 200 others soldiers on horses riding behind you, through surf on a beach, that’s terrifying. She really went there. She crafted the accent, and it’s flawless. She’s a stunning actor.”

Charlize Theron reveals how Oscar win changed her life

Hollywood actress Charlize Theron has revealed how her life dramatically changed, after she won the Best Actress in a Leading Role Oscar for her performance in the 2003 movie Monster. Charlize admitted that she found it all confusing to start with but now she has learnt to embrace the attention.

Theron explained, “Suddenly every agent, every manager, everyone told me they knew what was the best for me to do next. They were all very certain they knew. I started to listen, and I became more confused. I felt so much pressure. At one point, I pulled away and stopped listening. It was an experience.”

She added, “Winning came as a total surprise at the time, I was unprepared for it. Now, I am trying to get the best out of it: spend time with my mother and friends, enjoy every event, every award show, every compliment I get.”

Charlize Theron is next set to appear on the big screen, starring alongside Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth, in the Rupert Sanders Snow White adaptation, Snow White and the Huntsman, which is set to be released in both the US and the UK on June 1, 2012.

Lily Collins talks Kristen Stewart Snow White rivalry

Lily Collins is set to hit the big screen later this year in the role of Snow White, in the Tarsem Singh directed movie Mirror Mirror. Then, just a couple of months later, Kristen Stewart is set to appear on the big screen as the same character, in the Rupert Sanders directed movie Snow White and the Huntsman and people have been trying to make a rivalry between the two, which Lily claims is just not there.

Collins explained, “We’ve laughed about the fact that people think we’re rivals because to us they’re so different. I think the advertising is kind of genius because both films are being shown in this different way because they are such different stories.”

She added, “I’ve seen the trailers, I’m very aware of the other one. We’ve always been aware of each other and I’m excited to see what Kristen does. I’m excited for her and vice versa.”

You can catch Lily Collins as Snow White, starring alongside Armie Hammer and Julia Roberts, in Mirror Mirror, which is set to be released on March 30 in the US and April 6 in the UK. Kristen Stewart reveals Snow White’s born leadership

Snow White and the Huntsman actress Kristen Stewart has revealed how her character Snow White is a born leader, who has all the qualities of a great leader running through her veins. Kristen also admitted that Snow White is more than capable of looking after herself.

Stewart explained, “[She’s] a born leader. I mean, it’s literally pumping through those veins, but it’s been taken from her. She was put away when she was seven years old and her mother and her father were killed basically right in front of her.”

She added, “And we’re not doing the version of a fairytale that wouldn’t deal with all of those things, where you just sort of skim over all those things. It’s like all of these things are actually really important to the characters.”

Kristen continue, “She bleeds for her land and her people, and that’s just such a cool concept for me because it’s other people caring about people. I mean, she’s strong. She can kick ass. I think she genuinely lacks that innate fear of death that we all have. She’s got serious, fierce survival, not skills but insights. But she isn’t afraid of anything.”

Kristen Stewart will appear alongside Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron in the movie Snow White and the Huntsman, which is set to be released in both the US and the UK on June 1.

Kristen Stewart loves Chris Hemsworth
Kristen Stewart loves Chris Hemsworth

Twilight actress Kristen Stewart has revealed that she absolutely loved working with The Avengers actor Chris Hemsworth on the forthcoming movie Snow White and the Huntsman. Kristen claims that Chris is one of the most charming people that she has ever worked with and that his relaxed approach helped her to overcome her anxiety.

Stewart explained, “Before I met him, I was like: ‘Gosh, so charming.’ You know what I mean? Like he’s so ridiculously, seemingly nice. Movie-star calibre nice. But he really actually just is. But then again, it’s strange working - cause I mean it’s not a secret. It was a completely different part before. It was totally like a rethought.”

She added, “So when he came in it was like: ‘Wow! This is [so] interesting!’ I mean, it was like they really elevated it. Chris is an amazing, nice guy and also [has] great instincts and he can roll with everything on set. He’s really relaxed, whereas I use my anxiety to do this and he’s always sort of like - he’s a good energy for me. I really like working with him.” You can see Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth in Snow White and the Huntsman, which is released on June 1.
