You see that and you think, ‘What, you mean all they have to do is act like a f****ing idiot on television and you’ll pay me millions?’ I’m not judging it. Well, I am obviously, but after that you can’t buy your privacy back.” He added, “We did it privately for private reasons,” talking of his marriage to Rachel Weisz.

Rupert Grint to play ginger James Bond?

Harry Potter actor Rupert Grint has discussed the moment that the realisation set in that there would no longer be any more Harry Potter movies. Rupert admitted that it took him quite some time to come to terms with the end but he now finally has closure. Rupert also joked about the possibility of there one day being a ginger James Bond with him in the role of 007.

Grint explained, “I do remember waking up after the premiere and thinking there is no more Potter. It felt like the premiere was closure, I felt this is really it. It has taken me a while to come fully to terms with that. I felt it a lot on the last day of filming when they said cut for the final time, it was a massive moment because it really has taken over my life. I can’t remember before the time before the Harry Potter films and suddenly it was all over. It was such a long time, half my life, and suddenly it all came down to one scene and we never came back.”

He added, “A ginger Bond? Why not? That would be cool. But I can’t really see it myself.” Rupert Grint is currently lending his voice to a character in the film Postman Pat: The Movie – You Know You’re the One, which is set to be released on November 27, 2013. Asa Butterfield the future James Bond

Asa Butterfield is a name that we are going to be hearing about for a very long time to come. The young, 14 year old, British actor has already appeared alongside a number of huge Hollywood names in his short career, but it is a certain big screen character that Asa has more interest in. Asa explained, “Honestly, I really don’t think about it. Quite a few of those names I hadn’t even heard of when I first worked with them, Marty (Martin Scorsese) for example.  It was only other people’s reactions that alerted me to just what big a deal it was. And the brilliant people I have worked with have just wanted to be helpful and are really good fun. And after the first day of filming, you don’t think about them as celebrities, just as friends.”

He added, “I’m looking forward to playing characters that have a bit more world experience. I do have a dream role, so if anyone wants to make ‘Young Bond’, I’m your guy.” Well hold on a few more years Mr Butterfield and you may well get the chance to play James Bond in the future. She added that she hates people “thinking of me as just ‘that girl from Bond’.” Gemma Arterton is set to appear on the big screen, alongside Jeremy Renner and Famke Janssen in the movie Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters, which will be released on March 2, 2012.
Sam Worthington to play James Bond?
Sam Worthington to play James Bond?

It appears that Australian actor Sam Worthington has ruled himself out of ever running for the role as James Bond. Sam admitted that, even if he was to be offered the role, he would have to turn it down and it is all because of previous Australian James Bond actor George Lazenby.

Worthington explained, “Do you know what? I wouldn’t want to see a James Bond movie with me in it anyway. The last time there was an Australian as James Bond it was George Lazenby and he f***ed it up. I don’t want to be the new George Lazenby. But, you know, I learned a lot from that, which I took to the Avatar auditions.”

Sam Worthington recently revealed that he made British actress Keira Knightley hate him so that their on screen dislike for each other in the movie Last Night seemed more real. Sam can currently be seen alongside Chloe Moretz in the movie Texas Killing Fields.
Stephen Merchant was creepy teen
Stephen Merchant was creepy teen

Giant English funny man Stephen Merchant has revealed that he attempted to be different as a teenager in an attempt to get the attention of the opposite sex. Unfortunately for Stephen it did not work out that way and he ended up coming across as creepy.

Merchant explained, “The teenage years weren’t good to me. I decided to wear a bow tie to school for some length of time. I don’t know what the thinking behind that was, although I had been reading PG Wodehouse, so that may have had something to do with it. I probably thought that would make me more interesting to the ladies, but it actually just made them think I was a bit creepy.”

He then added, “Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed my time growing up in Bristol, but I was just a bit geeky. I expect you’re picturing me now with my rugged good looks and James Bond swagger and you’re thinking ‘how could that have come from the awkward teenager that he once was?’” Stephen Merchant is currently on his debut stand up tour Hello Ladies.
Idris Elba to be first black James Bond?
Idris Elba to be first black James Bond?

Rumours have been circulating for some time now that Idris Elba is being lined up to be the first black James Bond. However the actor has confirmed that if he did play the character he would not want to be known as the first black James Bond.

Idris explained, “It’s an old rumour. My dad and I were talking about this the other day. I would do it, but I don’t want to be called the first black James Bond. Do you understand what I ‘m saying? Sean Connery wasn’t the Scottish James Bond and Daniel Craig wasn’t the blue-eyed James Bond. So if I played him, I don’t want to be called the black James Bond.”

It would be hard for Idris Elba to combat this, as it is pretty certain that the majority of the public would refer to him as that. However, nothing has yet been confirmed regarding the next James Bond and we still have another Daniel Craig James Bond movie to get out of the way first.
James Bond 23 continues to get set back
James Bond 23 continues to get set back

The latest instalment of the James Bond franchise, tentatively titled James Bond 23, has been one of those movies that has suffered setback after setback. Now, just when you thought filming was due to get underway, it seems that it has suffered yet another setback.

James Bond 23, which will again star Daniel Craig as 007, was originally supposed to begin filming way back in 2010 after the script was completed in late 2009. However, just as they were preparing to get underway, there were problems involving MGM and the movie was pushed back pending the sale. It was then believed that production on James Bond 23 would begin in the coming months, yet now another problem has reared its head.

This time it involves the possibly shooting location. The producers of James Bond 23 wanted to shoot a train sequence on a busy train in India but the Railway Minister would not allow it. So it now appears that they will be heading to South Africa for the shoot. James Bond 23 is pencilled in for a November 2012 release but with the constant delays it could be pushed back to 2013.
Can Henry Cavill go from Superman to James Bond?
Can Henry Cavill go from Superman to James Bond?
Henry Cavill was one of three actors to be screen tested as the new James Bond back in 2005, along with Avatar actor Sam Worthington and Layer Cake star Daniel Craig. We all, of course, know what happened there, as Daniel Craig prepares for his third James Bond movie.

However, Henry Cavill has not ruled himself out of the running to possibly play James Bond in the future. The British actor, who is set to star as Superman in the franchise reboot Man of Steel, does however admit that the chance to be Bond is still some way away.

Henry explained, “That would be absolutely amazing. If they approached me on that I’d leap at the opportunity to do it. But that’s of course well away for the time being.” Superman: Man of Steel is set to be released on June 14, 2013, while the next James Bond instalment is due out on October 26, 2012.

Cowboys & Aliens actor Daniel Craig has revealed that he has read the script for the latest James Bond movie, Bond 23 and he believes that it could be even better than Casino Royale. Daniel also added that director Sam Mendes, whom he worked with on Road to Perdition, could make Bond 23 a 007 classic.

Daniel explained, “I think it’s a great choice because Sam has a fervour and energy to really direct a Bond movie with a capital B. He’ll feet-first run himself into it, [he’s] read every book and just soaked up everything about it. I read the script the other day and I’m more excited about this than I was about Casino because we’ve kind of got a classic Bond movie plus lots of other things.”

Daniel Craig also admitted that Bond 23 would once again be short on gadgets, “Trying to find something that’s new and interesting is really difficult… Mostly, the technology is in the public arena now or some type of it,” he said. Bond 23 is expected to be released on October 26, 2012.
