Jennifer Lawrence Discusses The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

Jennifer Lawrence says The Hunger Games Catching Fire will be more realistic than it’s prequel.

Jennifer, who plays Katniss Everdeen in the hit movie, said: “The new movie will be very real, which is what I’m excited about.”

She told 24 Frames that was excited about the film being directed by Francis Lawrence: “I really like his take, which is a lot of what I liked in Gary Ross. It’s the realistic grasp of the story instead of all the details of the imaginary things.”

Jennifer also revealed that she’s met with the director and believes that, overall, he’s trying to continue what Ross started with his adaptation of the first book in the Suzanne Collins’ series. “He’s not trying to reinvent anything,” she said.

The actress begins shooting “Catching Fire” in the fall, with the movie set for a November 2013 release. In the meantime, the Oscar nominee will be seen as the object of other men’s affections.

She recently wrapped ‘Serena,’ a romantic drama set in Depression-era North Carolina in which she plays Serena Pemberton, a less than sympathetic wife to a timber magnate played by Bradley Cooper. In the film, she is also the object of another man’s affections - Rhys Ifans - a man who gets violent when things don’t go his way.

Jennifer has described the plot for Serena as “kind of a messed-up love story.” Directed by Susanne Bier and produced by Mark Cuban’s 2929 Prods., the film does not yet have U.S. distribution.

Jennifer also said of the period movie: “If you’re wearing high heels, you feel more posh. It changes everything, even the way you move your body. It’s nice not to have to make excuses for your character, not to always try to rationalize something. There’s something totally liberating about dancing around the room just clawing away.”

Robert Pattinson: ‘We step into the era of The Hunger Games, the world wants fresh meat!’

Twilight star Robert Pattinson is set to break the hearts of thousands of Twihard fans after stating that The Hunger Games has replaced Twilight as the top teen flick.

The hunky actor, who plays vampire Edward Cullen in the hugely popular series, has admitted he feels people are already losing interest in the vampire movies following the popularity of Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson's movie, The Hunger Games. This is despite the final Twilight installment, Breaking Dawn - Part 2, not having been released yet.

Speaking to Telegrama magazine, R-Pattz confessed: “I feel like the frenzy is starting to die down. We step into the era of The Hunger Games, the world wants fresh meat!”

The 26-year old, who is dating co-star Kristen Stewart, has already shot his final scenes as Edward Cullen in Canada, marking the end of his Twilight Saga journey, which has shot Robert, somewhat begrudgingly, to superstardom.

Despite the end of Twilight drawing ever closer, Rob went on to add that he is looking forward to revisiting the franchise for the final time. He stated: “I’m curious to reunite with this universe for the last time, to see the effect it will have on me and on the audience.”

Earlier this week, Kristen revealed that she would love to work with her beau again, telling Celebuzz: “I’m dying to make another movie with Rob. I think that we’re a good team.”
