Robert Pattinson and Adele recently hung out together at a party, but the night unfortunately ended in an argument, Rob has revealed.
Rob has revealed that when he did meet the chart-topping singer recently, he ended up arguing with her.
Rob admitted that he made massive faux pas in front of the Someone Like You singer by telling her to aim big with her career. “I had this argument with Adele, which is propbably the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever said,” the embarrassed Twilight star said on CBC’s Tonight.
“I was saying, ‘you know, you can really just like reach for it,’ and she was like, ‘You do realise I am like the biggest-selling female artist ever?’ And I just for some reason just decided to get into an argument with her. Yeah, and then waking up and kind of really, really regretting every word I said.”
We wonder if Adele will write a song about it?
Rob – who is due to star in new movie Cosmopolis – also admitted that the Twilight movies haven’t made him worry about being typecast, rather he worries that people will forget who he is all together,
“The amount of times you get asked, ‘Oh, are you worried about being typecast?’ I’m just worried about people saying, like, ‘What happened to that guy?’
“And also, you think, you want to do something at least a little bit worthwhile with what kind of power you’ve been given, through luck. And not just keep trying to extend the same thing for as long as possible.”
We don’t think anyone is going to forget about him in a hurry!
