Charlie Sheen to make Two and a Half Women

It seems that Charlie Sheen is dead set on angering everybody involved with the television show Two and a Half Men and will not stop until he has gotten his revenge. Charlie is clearly still annoyed at being axed from the show and cannot seem to let it go.

Earlier this year, Charlie Sheen and FX were issued a cease and desist letter from Warner Bros. following promotional material for his show Anger Management. The material showed Charlie Sheen as his Two and a Half Men character Charlie Harper, much to the annoyance of Warner Bros.

Now it has been reported that Charlie Sheen is set to make a show titled Two and a Half Women, in a bid to further anger the people at Warner Bros. and those involved with Two and a Half Men.

Two and a Half Women is expected to be very different from Two and a Half Men but Charlie Sheen has just decided to call it Two and a Half Women to have yet another dig at Two and a Half Men. It is expected that Two and a Half Women will be released later this year.

Ashton Kutcher in Two and a Half Men contract discussions

It has been reported that Two and a Half Men actor, Ashton Kutcher, is currently in discussions regarding his current contract on the hit CBS comedy series. Ashton is only signed up for the current season and bosses are hoping he will sign on for another season.

Ashton Kutcher joined the show last year, after the show’s previous star, Charlie Sheen, was axed from the show, following comments he made about the show’s creator Chuck Lorre. Two and a Half Men has since received mixed reviews but the viewing figures have been great.

It is believed that Ashton Kutcher is currently being paid $700,000 (£440,000) per episode, making him the highest paid actor in comedy television. However, it is expected that Ashton will receive a pay rise if he signs on for another season.

Ashton Kutcher recently admitted that he was having a great time on the show and would love to return, while showrunner Chuck Lorre admitted that he could not see Two and a Half Men being dropped and was expecting a tenth season of the show.

Two and a Half Men airs on CBS on Monday nights.

Two and a Half Men to be cancelled?

It has been confirmed by Two and a Half Men actor Ashton Kutcher that the hit CBS comedy series has yet to be picked up for a tenth season. Ashton admitted that he is having a great time on the show and would love to come back but he was unsure whether there would be another season.

Kutcher explained, “Here’s the thing, I don’t think that the show’s been picked up for another year. I’m absolutely adoring the time that I’m having, but I haven’t heard from the powers that be yet, so I don’t know.”

He added, “We are like some kooky sons of bitches. For me, it’s really the magic of getting to know someone you’re working with. And right now, I want to work with these guys.” Meanwhile, Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre admitted that he would be surprised if the show did get cancelled.

Chuck added, “It’s unusual when they cancel a show that’s in the top ten. I think there’s hope… I think reinventing the show going forward, everybody has to sign back up.” However, he did state that the decision whether Two and a Half Men receives another season is “above [his] pay grade”.

Charlie Sheen slams Ashton Kutcher
Charlie Sheen slams Ashton Kutcher

Former Two and a Half Men actor Charlie Sheen has criticised his Two and a Half Men replacement Ashton Kutcher claiming that the actor sucks. Charlie continued by claiming that the Two and a Half Men bosses made the biggest mistake they ever could have, by getting rid of him and trying to replace him. Charlie also had a pop at the writers of the show.

Sheen explained, “I’m tired of lying, I’m tired of pretending like the show doesn’t suck, I’m tired of pretending like Ashton doesn’t suck, I’m tired of pretending like they’re not completely adrift. When you take away the anchor from your show, which they stupidly did, you go adrift.” Charlie Sheen then claimed that he felt sorry for Ashton Kutcher.

He added, “It’s nothing personal. I just feel bad for Kutcher, he’s saddled with such bad writing. I mean, I had some pretty bad writing over the years. You know, when the show was good, it was so great… but now, it’s like there’s no… there’s just nothing about it that’s fresh or interesting. I mean, I forget that it’s on the air.” Yesterday Charlie Sheen was issued with a cease and desist order by Warner Bros.

It has been reported that former Two and a Half Men actor Charlie Sheen and his new production company have been issued a cease and desist letter from Warner Bros. following their promotion material for the new Charlie Sheen show Anger Management. The promotional material in question shows images of Charlie Sheen from his Two and a Half Men days, which Warner Bros. are unhappy about.

However, this does not seem to have bothered Charlie Sheen too much, as he does not think that Two and a Half Men is actually that good anyway. He explained, “I’m thrilled.  It insulates me from having to redundantly see myself in the idiotic bowling shirt.  Perhaps if  Warner Bros. spent as much time and energy focusing on THEIR show, it wouldn’t be such a steaming pile of ass.”

Smulders explained, “It was very intimidating and I think I turned the same colour as the background and I was kind of like ‘I’m just gonna be over here until you need me. When you need me to say that one line, I’ll be right here.’ I was very intimidated but it was amazing because I had that one scene with everyone, but I was just kind of able to watch it all take place.”

She added, “I didn’t have a lot of involvement [in the scene] because she [Maria] just wouldn’t and I just kind of got to watch it all and go ‘Wow, we’re all here’”. Ashton Kutcher joined Two and a Half Men following the sacking of Charlie Sheen, who seemed to have a mini break down at the beginning of 2011. She added, “I find peace when I don’t see my body as my enemy, when I step back and have appreciation and look at all that my body has done for me. It’s allowed me to give birth to three beautiful children, allowed me to explore different roles as an actor, allowed me to be strong.”

Thank you for standing by me, for being there for me no matter what I have put you through’.” Demi Moore filed for divorce from  her husband, Two and a Half Men actor, Ashton Kutcher back in November following reports that he had an affair.

Two and a Half Men gains on The Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother

A lot of people have been criticising the latest season of Two and a Half Men claiming that the show has lost its edge now that Charlie Sheen has gone. The premiere of this season managed to bring in the CBS shows highest ever ratings and it appears that Two and a Half Men is continuing to grow.

Research has shown that, in the past 12 months Two and a Half Men has been making quite a gain on shows such as The Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother. In 2010, The Big Bang Theory was pulling in 10% more audience interest that Two and a Half Men but now the tables have turned.

Two and a Half Men has not only gained on The Big Bang Theory in audience interest, it has actually surpassed it and now holds a 15% lead over its fellow CBS show. Meanwhile, How I Met Your Mother was pulling in well over double the audience interest of Two and a Half Men but is now only 90% up.

These figures show that, while many are disappointed that Charlie Sheen is no longer a part of Two and a Half Men, it has actually grown in interest. It is without doubt that Two and a Half Men will return for a tenth season, with Ashton Kutcher remaining on the show. Two and a Half Men and How I Met Your Mother air on Monday nights on CBS, while The Big Bang Theory airs on Thursdays.
