Eva Mendes talks sex scenes and nudity

Hollywood actress Eva Mendes has revealed how she was fine with having to do a bit of full nudity in her first big movie Training Day but when it came to the sex scene for the movie We Own The Night in 2007, she was a little less comfortable. Eva admitted that she was worried what her movie would think of her doing a sex scene for the world to see.
Mendes explained, “I work with what I have. In my first big film, Training Day, I did full nudity. It was fine, because it was not a love scene. It was different with the film We Own The Night with Joaquin Phoenix in 2007 because in the opening scene he is seen kissing my bare breast and putting his hand down my pants. I was like ‘Oh, my God, I’m not sure whether I can do this.’ I told the director: ‘There’s a good little Catholic girl still inside me.’ He said, ‘Tell her to go home.’ So they made me a strong vodka orange juice and I got on with it.”
She added, “I did think ‘If I am going to take my mom, I will miss the opening ten minutes of this film.’ But, of course, she was fine about it as she has been with all my movies. She probably realised what was going on in my head more than I did. I now love my curves. When I first had them, though, I wondered what was going on. Men were suddenly looking at me and I didn’t know why. It was confusing.” Eva Mendes is set to appear alongside her boyfriend Ryan Gosling in the movie The Place Beyond the Pines, which is expected to be released this year.
