The Hunger Games Josh Hutcherson talks growing up
The Hunger Games Josh Hutcherson talks growing up

Josh Hutcherson is set to appear in what could potentially be the biggest movie hit of the year, when he plays Peeta in The Hunger Games. Josh has been appearing in movies from a very young age and admits that it had a rather interesting impact on his childhood. Josh grew up switching between Kentucky and California, something that he really enjoyed.

Hutcherson explained, “Pretty much, growing up split between Kentucky and California was really cool for me because I has the best of both worlds. California, especially the Los Angeles area, is a very forward thinking, sort of modern place to live, whereas Kentucky is a little traditional. So to have a combo of the two was really nice growing up.”

He added, “Growing up I was a big Disney kid. I had all the Disney cartoons like Pocahontas, The Lion King and all those. One of my first movie memories I have, is being terrified of the wicked witch of the west from The Wizard of Oz.” We’re pretty sure most of you can relate to that. You can catch Josh Hutcherson in The Hunger Games when it is released on March 23 .

Lion King 3D set for big opening

Lion King 3D set for big opening

This isn’t a new movie, or a remake, just the 1994 classic given dimensions and then you in turn given a pair of 3D glasses, so will it be successfully with such a short run?

The Lion King is one of Disney’s all time grossing movies, and not only in terms of box office, but commercially, through teddy bears, key rings, pens, clothes and snow globes, to name just a few. Disney have managed to secure a 14 day run in cinemas across the states, and then after that, straight to Blu-ray in 3D for sale in your local shop.

The movie is the same as the 1994 as mentioned, and contains no changes to the script or voices, but Disney say it’s a completely different experience and recommend anyone who loves The Lion King should be catching this in a cinema before it disappears.
