Stan Lee The Avengers cameo is his best yet
Stan Lee The Avengers cameo is his best yet

Comic book legend Stan Lee has been making cameo appearances in movies based on his comics for years now but it seems that he is finally getting to have some real fun with them. Stan has admitted, in an interview with Collider, that his cameo in The Avengers is his best work yet.

Lee explained, “The Avengers cameo that you will see, when that movie opens up, is possibly one of my best. And you know how good mine have been, but it is so funny. I can’t tell you what it is ‘cause they’d kill me, but it is funny.”
He added, “So is the Spider-Man one, by the way. They’re deciding to make my cameos a little funnier. They know that’s what brings the audiences in, of course, so they’ve gotta play them up.”
With the amount of Marvel movies that are due out over the next few years, the 89 year old Marvel genius is set to be kept quite a busy man. The next Stan Lee cameo appearance in a Marvel movie is expected to be in Iron Man 3, which is due out next.
In the meantime, you can catch Stan Lee in his latest cameo appearance, when The Avengers is released on April 27 in the UK and May 4 in the US.
Chris Evans talks The Avengers
Chris Evans talks The Avengers

Chris Evans revealed last year how he went through quite a tough time dealing with the whole experience of playing Captain America and he is set to portray the character again for The Avengers in May. However, Chris has revealed that he feels much less pressure on his shoulder this time around, as there are many other stars there to share the expectation.

Evans explained, “It’s a lot easier now. Now that we’ve gotten past that first wave of Captain America and the press and all that madness and now we’re into The Avengers, where I get to share some of the work load, it’s become a lot easier.” Chris then discussed the cameo appearance from legendary comic book writer Stan Lee.
He added, He’s fantastic. He did a cameo on the Fantastic Four films, so I’ve met him a few times, and he was just amazing. He’s a living legend. He’s got so much energy and so much personality and he’s so positive, always smiling and always cracking jokes. He really is one amazing human being.”
Chris Evans then went on to discuss how he went about Captain America leading the other heroes. Chris continued, “There are a lot of growing pains that The Avengers have to work out in the first film but I’m not going to get too into detail because Marvel will kill me. So you’ll just have to wait and see the film in March … May? … May!” So it seems that we could be getting a sequel to The Avengers and just to clear up any confusion, The Avengers hits the big screen on May 4, 2012.
