Imogen Thomas is totally in love with Adam Horsley

For Big Brother beauty Imogen Thomas has revealed how she is very much in love with her, Australian finance specialist, boyfriend Adam Horsley. Imogen admitted that Adam did not judge her regarding her affair with Ryan Giggs last year and claims that Horsley treats her like a princess.

Thomas explained, “It doesn’t seem like a year ago, it seems like yesterday — it’s still raw. But I feel like I’m free again, I feel like a new me. I want to put everything that happened in the last year behind me.”

She added, “We’ve been seeing each other for six months. We met in a bar in London and although I was very much in the news then, he didn’t know who I was. He’s not the type to judge people before getting to know them. We went on a couple of dates and we’ve been inseparable ever since.”

Imogen continued, “I don’t want to be with someone famous. I think you’ve got to have someone real, who’s down to earth and treats you the way you should be treated. I totally love Adam. He treats me like an absolute princess.”
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson praises Ryan Giggs
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson praises Ryan Giggs

While much of the football talk from the weekend will mainly centre around Liverpool winning the Carling Cup and Arsenal destroying local rivals Tottenham Hotspur 5-2, there was also another very special occasion. 38 year old Manchester United winger Ryan Giggs made his 900th appearance for the Old Trafford club and managed to bag the last minute winner on such a special day for him.

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has been praising the Welshman for achieving such a sensational milestone. He explained, “For a player to play for one club for 900 games is exceptional and it won’t be done again. He deserved that goal for his service to the club. He’s had an amazing career and he’s an amazing man.” Ryan Giggs then discussed how special an occasion it was for him to score on his 900th appearance for Manchester United.

He added, “To play 900 games for this club, who I’ve grown up supporting, is special - it’s a great day for me. I am sure there will be more twists and turns in the title race and I expect more drama and late goals.” The 2-1 win over Norwich City at the weekend keeps Manchester United within two points of leaders Manchester City and the title race very much alive.
Rio Ferdinand to persuade Paul Pogba to stay at Manchester United
Rio Ferdinand to persuade Paul Pogba to stay at Manchester United

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed how veteran centre back Rio Ferdinand could be the key to keeping talented young French midfielder Paul Pogba at the club. Alex claims that Rio is such a big hit with the younger players and his influence could well persuade Paul Pogba to sign a new contract at Manchester United.

Ferguson explained, “Rio has become an important figure at the club. He is good with the players. He is good with the young players. At the moment, he is working hard on the boy Pogba and talking to him. The young boy is unsure. But Rio is well regarded. The thing that has been hard for Rio is that having had agility, speed and athleticism when you get to 33 you have lost a bit, maybe 10 or 15 per cent. So he has to change his game. He used to gamble, Rio. When a guy was slipping away from him he could go into overdrive and catch them but he can’t now.”

He added, “I spoke to him about it and said you are not the player you were five years ago and you cannot expect to be and you have had the back injured and you have to take care of that. He does the yoga now which is good. He has to adjust his game. I said your pace is not always going to get you out now so you have to read the game better now and he is doing great. He is doing better than he has ever done. It is all a matter of coping with an ageing player. We have done it with Ryan Giggs. He does yoga. Scholesy is back and is lovely and fresh. If you look after yourself you can get the rewards like that.”

Manchester United take on Ajax at Old Trafford on Thursday night in the Europa League and will be hoping to make their home advantage and their 2-0 lead from the first leg count.
Manchester United’s Ryan Giggs officially named in Imogen Thomas affair
Manchester United’s Ryan Giggs officially named in Imogen Thomas affair

It has been a story that has been going on for almost a year but the name of the footballer involved in an affair with model Imogen Thomas was never allowed to be mentioned in court. However, Ryan Giggs has dropped his anonymity injunction in order to seek damages from The Sun for generating a large scale media storm.

His lawyer, Hugh Tomlinson explained, “The claimant’s name is in the public domain contrary to court orders. The claimant has consented to the removal of the anonymity order completely. He has suffered damage and distress by the chain of events that has been set off by the publication of the article in The Sun. We say the printing of information on the front page of a national newspaper can give rise to an action for misuse of private information.”

While everybody has known for quite some time now that Ryan Giggs had an affair with Imogen Thomas, he has tried to hide behind an anonymity injunction. However, now that the injunction has been lifted, the name of Ryan Giggs can now be used freely in court. Ryan Giggs also had an affair with his brother’s wife Natasha Giggs, who then went on to appear in Celebrity Big Brother.
Manchester United’s Danny Welbeck and Nani forget passports for Ajax trip
Manchester United’s Danny Welbeck and Nani forget passports for Ajax trip

It has been reported that two of Manchester United’s 20 man squad forget to take their passport to the airport for their trip to Amsterdam, where they face Ajax in the Europa League. Forward Danny Welbeck and winger Nani both left their passports at home, a mistake usually made by a younger player being given his big European break, not by two of the more experienced players in the squad.

While it seemed that Manchester United may have to travel without the two senior players, one of the members of the Manchester United security team was on hand to save the day. He raced back to the players homes and collected their passports before returning to Manchester Airport with plenty of time to spare.

Fortunately for Danny Welbeck and Nani, they were then able to make the trip to Holland, without feeling the wrath of their manager Sir Alex Ferguson. It was thought that Ryan Giggs would make his 900th appearance for Manchester United tonight but he has not made the trip. Other players that have stayed back in England include forward Dimitar Berbatov and full back Patrice Evra.
Ryan Giggs the next Manchester United manager?
Ryan Giggs the next Manchester United manager?

It seems that Ryan Giggs has become one of the favourites around Old Trafford to succeed Sir Alex Ferguson as the next manager of Manchester United. Sir Alex himself has stated that he believes Ryan Giggs to have the right temperament and a strong enough personality to be able to carry the responsibility of being the Manchester United manager. Now Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes has added his voice to the Ryan Giggs fan club.

Scholes explained, “People have talked about Jose Mourinho. It can change quickly, it’s about who is successful at the time. Whether they are British or foreign, you just want the best man for the job. I could see Ryan Giggs becoming manager.” Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs broke into the Manchester United team not to far apart from each other and it would not be surprising to see them both in coaching roles at Old Trafford when they hang up their boots.

Ryan Giggs is set to make his 900th appearance for Manchester United tonight, as they take on Ajax at the Amsterdam Arena in the Europa League. 38 year old Giggs is into his 21st season with Manchester United and recently signed a one year contract extension that will take it to 22. It is unlikely that Ryan Giggs could ever emulate in management what he has achieved as a player, but stranger things have happened.
Marc Albrighton scores the 20,000th Premier League goal
Marc Albrighton scores the 20,000th Premier League goal

The countdown began at the beginning of the night with just 11 goals needed from the 7 Premier League matches taking place tonight and we would have 20,000 Premier League goals. Everybody was wondering who would get the 20,000th Premier League with many people arguing cases for certain players and a lot of money being placed at the book makers.

Well, it has finally happened. The night began with a flurry of goals and it seemed like the 20,000th Premier League goal could come before the half time whistles had even been blown. However, that was not to happen. Ryan Giggs managed to knock in the 19,999th Premier League and it would have been a fitting tribute for a player such as Giggs to bag the 20,000th Premier League goal but that was not to be.

The player who will be remembered in the history books, along with Brian Deane who scored the first ever Premier League goal and Les Ferdinand who scored the 10,000th Premier League goal is Marc Albrighton who took advantage of an Arsenal defensive error to put Aston Villa back on level terms with Arsenal at 1-1.
Imogen Thomas cleared of blackmail allegations
Imogen Thomas cleared of blackmail allegations

Former Big Brother beauty Imogen Thomas has been cleared of the blackmail allegations made against her. It was revealed that Imogen Thomas had an affair with Manchester United footballer Ryan Giggs earlier this year and since then, Giggs has accused Imogen of trying to blackmail money out of him.

It is believed that Ryan Giggs accused Imogen Thomas of trying to blackmail him for £110,000 so that she did not go to the press and reveal all the sordid details about their affair. However, Imogen denied this straight away, stating that the claims were false and labelled them as “outrageous”. Now, a court has heard that there was no basis for the blackmail accusation.

A statement revealed, “CTB and Ms Thomas have now resolved matters between them. Ms Thomas did not want to disclose private information concerning CTB. That remains her position now that the record has been set straight.” CTB is the term being used for the married footballer involved in the case.

Imogen Thomas said afterwards, “To suddenly have to defend my character because of this legal process has been extremely upsetting and stressful. I’m just relieved that the parties and the court now accept that I’m no blackmailer. I have been vindicated and that’s all I wanted. I have nothing to add - it’s all behind me now.”

It is expected that Imogen will discuss how she has gone from strength to strength since the revelation of her affair with Ryan Giggs broke, although she is still unable to discuss the matter. Imogen received an unnecessary amount of criticism but has proved the strength of her character by battling on through.

After hitting quite a low during the weeks following the revelation and having to deal with the childish abuse that was thrown at her, Imogen Thomas has now got herself back on track. Imogen has been receiving rave reviews for her appearances on ITV show This Morning, where she judges Hunks in Trunks. Good to see you back smiling Imogen.
