Lindsay Lohan off drugs and booze for good
Lindsay Lohan off drugs and booze for good

Mean Girls actress Lindsay Lohan has revealed how she no longer likes going out and partying and feels much more comfortable when she is just sat at home. Lindsay has developed a reputation over the years as a bit of a party animal and has been known for her drink and drugs problems but she insists that those days are well behind her now and is aiming to prove herself with her actions rather than her words.

Lohan explained, “Partying is not my thing anymore. I went out, actually, a few months ago with a friend. And I was so uncomfortable. Not because I felt tempted, just because it was just the same thing that it always was before. And it just wasn’t fun for me. I’ve become more of a homebody. And I like that.”

She added, “People can say things all they want, but I think I still need to go through the process of proving myself, you know, with SNL, being on time, being, you know, keeping my - can’t say the word - but stuff together.” You can catch Lindsay Lohan, who will be joined by musical guest Jack White, on Saturday Night Live, which is set to air this weekend on NBC at 11.30/10.30c
Kelly Clarkson was nervous but loved Super Bowl performance
Kelly Clarkson was nervous but loved Super Bowl performance

The original American Idol Kelly Clarkson has revealed how she was extremely nervous before performing at this year’s Super Bowl, even though she had sung the American National Anthem more times than she could possibly remember. However, Kelly admits that, the thought of performing with the Indianapolis Children’s Choir certainly helped to settle her nerves.

Clarkson explained, “I have probably sang the National Anthem a thousand times and have never been nervous, but I definitely was last night at the Super Bowl! That was the longest minute and a half of my life. I was very excited as well because of the drum line and the Indianapolis kids choir that were performing with me.”

She added, “They made the performance stand out a lot more and those kids sounded so ethereal and beautiful! It was a huge honour to get to sing the anthem and I’d be proud to do it again!” NBC were forced to make a public apology, after singer M.I.A stuck up her middle finger during her Super Bowl half time performance with Madonna.
Celebrity Apprentice stars discuss their experiences
Celebrity Apprentice stars discuss their experiences

Celebrity Apprentice returns next month and some of the stars of the latest season of the hit reality TV show have been discussing what it was like to take part in the show. Lou Ferrigno, who is set to voice The Incredible Hulk in The Avengers, Aubrey O’Day, former member of Danity Kane from the musical series Making the Band and Penn Jillette of Penn and Teller fame all appear in the new season of Celebrity Apprentice.

Lou Ferrigno explained, “First of all, I was on a show with a bunch of great talent, great people, great friends. It was very difficult and challenging. I learned a lot and had a lot of fun. But basically it’s like a chess game.”

Audrey O’Day added, “I learned that I was a lot better at things like real world jobs than I thought. When you’re in entertainment long enough, you get used to the hustle and bustle of what it takes to survive in this world. Although it is a reality show and in the entertainment world, the jobs that we were doing were for actual companies. We were building products and branding and really creating a name for a company.”

Penn Jillette continued, “I found that if I really focused when the stakes were really high, I couldn’t stay in a room with Clay Aiken without swallowing my own tongue. No one knows what game you’re playing. it’s an arbitrary game without rules. I can tell you the rules of Texas Hold’em, I cannot tell you the rules of Celebrity Apprentice.” Celebrity Apprentice premieres on February 12 on NBC.
Yvonne Strahovski reveals Chuck bittersweet end
Yvonne Strahovski reveals Chuck bittersweet end

Filming for the final season of Chuck is nearly completed, with just two episodes left to record and one of the shows stars, Yvonne Strahovski, has revealed how bittersweet the whole process is. Yvonne joked that the cast and crew have been boozing on set to make sure that the final season is fun.

Strahovski explained, “I feel like we’re milking it for all it’s worth. I feel like it’s the most fun we’ve had as a group, drinking and boozing on the set. It’s very bittersweet in a way. It’s nice to know we have an end we can write toward that fans will be happy with, and not like a weird, open-ended thing that we don’t really know we’re going to end. So it’s really nice that we can work toward it”

Yvonne Strahovski has played Sarah Walker since Chuck debuted back in 2007 and has been a key character in the show across all five seasons. Chuck season five premiered on October 28 on NBC and the season and series as a whole, will conclude in a two hour finale on January 27.

Yvonne Strahovski reveals what she’ll miss about Chuck

The fifth and final season of the action, comedy, spy, drama Chuck starts tonight on NBC and it is the end of an era for all involved. One of the shows stars, Yvonne Strahovski, who plays Sarah Walker, has revealed exactly what she will miss about the show.

Yvonne explained, “I’m going to have major withdrawal when we finish. We’re on such a rigorous schedule here, I think that alone is going to be a giant slap in the face, not having to go do work and shoot scenes at such a fast pace. But more so than that it’s the people, seeing the familiar faces every day of the cast and crew. Having that gone, it’s going to be hard.”

This fifth and final season of Chuck will see the arrival of a new character, Sarah’s mom, who will be played by Cheryl Ladd and is someone that Yvonne Strahovski has been looking forward to seeing appear in the show. Chuck Season 5 premieres tonight on NBC.
