Katherine Heigl is a fierce advocate for adoption, having first adopted daughter, Naleigh, from South Korea in 2009, she has now adopted a second daughter, Adalaide Marie Hope.
The Knocked Up actress, 33, and her rocker beau Josh Kelley, 32, adopted the baby girl last month, but have not revealed the meaning behind her name - but it’s likely to be sentimental. Naleigh is a hybrid tribute to Heigl’s mother Nancy and sister Margaret Leigh.
Katherine has recently admitted that she was ‘overcome with emotion’ when she met Adalaide for the first time. The 27 Dresses actress and her singer/songwriter beau, Josh, were ‘bouncing off the walls with excitement and anticipation’ as they waited to hear about the birth.
And Katherine was reduced to tears when the child was placed in her arms. Speaking in an interview with the UK edition of HELLO! magazine, Katherine said: ‘I don’t cry easily or often but I’m not gonna lie, this was one of those moments where you can’t help but be overcome with emotion. There were some tears and lot of giddiness and joy. The moment they put her in my arms I just felt an overwhelming sense of awe and wonder that this perfect little being was our daughter.’
The couple waited to welcome Adalaide into their family until they felt it was the right time. Speaking about adoption, Katherine said: ‘I’ve always known I wanted to adopt and I fell in love with a man who was happy to have a family that included it … I’ve never felt that there were any rules that applied to how you have a family.’
Katherine’s secret cross-US adoption of Adalaide was organised with the help of the family nanny, who sat several rows behind them on the flight home with the newborn to avoid suspicion. Katherine and Josh - who met in 2005 when she appeared in his music video Only You - are now ‘in negotiations’ over how many more children to have. She admitted: ‘I’d like two more, he thinks three’s a nice number, so we’ll see!’

Now, singer Josh Kelley, the husband of the Knocked Up actress Katherine Heigl, has revealed his new tattoo. Josh even took the time to describe the reason behind his tattoo design.
Kelley explained, “Killer!!!! My wifes bday is nov 24 and naleighs on nov 23 so her 23 is in Korean and the Sagittarius symbol in the middle.”
The obsession with scarring your body with ink seems strange to many people, who cannot understand why celebrities would feel the need to mark themselves in such a way. As they age, the tattoo’s begin to look unattractive and some celebrities do end up regretting their decision, such as Megan Fox, who is having some of her tattoo’s removed. Katherine Heigl has confirmed that she got to have a passionate, on screen snog with Jon Bon Jovi for her latest movie role in New Years Eve. Katherine and Jon play former lovers, who reunite on the night of New Years Eve and she was glad to confess to kissing the rocker.
Heigl explained, “I play a young woman who’s a caterer and she’s catering the New Year’s Eve party and event. Jon plays my big, famous musician ex-fiancé who comes back into town to sort of win me back. Yes, I made out with him! He’s just a gem. One of the nicest guys ever.”
New Years Eve has an all star cast including Michelle Pfeiffer, Zac Efron, Ashton Kutcher, Robert De Niro, Hilary Swank and Jessica Biel. The movie is Garry Marshall’s follow up to the film Valentine’s Day and is set to be released on December 9 in both the US and the UK.

Lionsgate are one of our favourite studios right now, they have just announced the latest status of The Hunger Games and now they give us the trailer to One For The Money starring Katherine Heigl.
The film has been directed by Julie Ann Robinson and is an adaptation from the 16-book series by Janet Evanovich. The story is based on Stephanie Plum, after six months of being unemployed she finally finds work working at a bail bonding company where she has to deal with an old love on various occasions who turns out to be somewhat of a shady character.
The movie also stars Jason O’Mara and John Leguizamo and is due for release on 27th January 2012
