Katy Perry Passes Out After Partying With Justin Bieber And Jessie J

Katy Perry was really “excited” to catch up with her pals Justin Bieber and Jessie J in London this weekend.

The stars were out in force, but too many cocktails got the better of the I Kissed A Girl singer, who allegedly fell over in the nightclub after drinking a little more than she could handle.

Katy performed at the Capital FM Summertime Ball alongside the likes of Usher, The Wanted, Coldplay, Justin Bieber and Jessie J.

And afterwards Katy was keen to hit the town at Cirque du Soir for a few drinks with Jessie J, Justin Bieber and her rumoured boyfriend, Florence and The Machine guitarist, Robert Ackroyd.

Katy partied until 5 in the morning, and was reportedly spotted with bottles of vodka, champagne and an array of cocktails on her table, but the star had more than she could handle.

A source told The Daily Mirror: “Katy was in high spirits and very excited that Justin was there, as she loves Justin. And she’s good friends with Jessie, so they had a catch-up. Before long Katy had sunk a fair few vodka cocktails. She had big bottles of Ciroc and Belvedere on her table.”

They also added: “By 5am she seemed to be having some difficulty walking and suddenly fell to the floor. She was down for a while and it took a couple of her mates to get her up. Everyone was staring and there was quite a commotion.”

Voice UK judge Jessie J asks contestant Tyler James out on live TV
Voice UK judge Jessie J asks contestant Tyler James out on live TV

Tyler James showed that being able to sing can impress the ladies, as his performance on The Voice UK persuaded judge Jessie J to ask him out for dinner.

Tyler, who was a close friend of the late singer Amy Winehouse, sang Terence Trent D’Arby’s Sign Your Name in a bid to keep his place on the BBC One talent show.

His flawless vocal wowed all the judges, including Will.i.am, Tom Jones and Danny O’Donoghue, but Jessie J seemed particularly taken with the ‘very cool’ singer.

She told Tyler: ‘I want to chill with you, I do! I think your voice is smooth and I would happily buy your album.’

If that wasn’t enough to please the contestant, Jessie jokingly asked: ‘Let’s go out for dinner?’

However, handsome Tyler has more than just Jessie swooning. The hopeful seemed more than a little surprised by the development and couldn’t keep a smile off his face when Reggie Yates quizzed him about it. But when Reggie asked whether he would take her up the offer, Tyler could only mumble: ‘I don’t know.’

If he was too busy worrying about his future on The Voice UK to think about going on a date with a pop star, the other judges’ comments suggested he had no need to be. Will.i.am told him the country ‘should be honoured to have a soulful, smooth singer’ like him, while music legend Tom Jones congratulated Tyler on not sounding like Terence Trent D’Arby.

Jessie J forced to hide her sexuality
Jessie J forced to hide her sexuality

A new book has revealed that singer Jessie J is a lesbian who was forced to hide her sexuality to make her more ‘trendy’.

The shocking new publication says that The Voice coach was told by record bosses that she would be more appealing to fans if she said that she was bisexual rather than gay. The unauthorised biography, written by Chloe Govan, adds that the pop star, who first realised she was gay at the age of 17, eventually went along with the plan but was ‘incensed’ by the decision.

In the book, entitled Jessie J: Who’s Laughing Now, Govan writes that Jessie chose to say she was bisexual because she was scared of losing her record contract with Universal. Govan said: ‘Jessie might have been with boys in the past - but she is 100 per cent gay. Jessie was openly lesbian and didn’t hide it. She was advised not to come out, though. Certain people thought being bi was trendy, exotic and a fashion statement. It would increase her allure.’

Jessie J's stint on The X Factor UK led to flirtatious tweets between herself and mentor Tulisa Contostavlos, and the pair were said to be meeting up to discuss a collaboration. We doubt that Jessie J would be any less appealing to anyone, regardless of her sexuality. What do you think?

It has been reported that The X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos and The Voice coach Jessie J are set to team up together and collaborate on a song. While the two singers are working on rival television shows, that has certainly not affected their desire to work together in music.

Contostavlos explained to Capital FM, “Oh definitely, definitely. I don’t know when but that will happen one day. I think it would sound wicked. I think it would sound female boss… bosses.”
Tulisa Contostavlos and Jessie J have been friends for many years and last year, before Jessie J became associated with the new BBC show The Voice, Jessie helped Tulisa to make her choices in the Judges Houses stage of The X Factor.
However, Tulisa has admitted that she has not given Jessie J any words of advice for her role on The Voice because she feels that Jessie is perfectly capable of doing a good job and knows exactly what is needed of her on such a show. Tulisa also admitted that she believes that Jessie J has her head screwed on.
Tulisa Contostavlos’ debut single Young is set to be released in the UK on May 6.
Ed Sheeran almost gave up music for acting
Ed Sheeran almost gave up music for acting

Double Brit Award winner Ed Sheeran has revealed how he almost turned his back on music, in favour of becoming an actor. Ed admitted that he responded to an advertisement, which could have seen him become an actor, rather than a singer.

Sheeran explained, “This email came though saying, ‘If you can sing, play the guitar and act, then audition for this’. I thought, ‘This sounds like me’. I got down to the final three with Pixie Lott. I said to myself that if I get this, I’ll give up music and concentrate on acting. Luckily, I realised it wasn’t for me and I didn’t get it anyway.”
Ed then went on to recall a time when he played with Jessie J, before they both hit the big time. He added, We were remembering doing shows two years ago where there’d be 30 people in the audience. Two years on and she’s selling out arenas [and] I’m doing my shows.”
Sheeran continued, “We’ve all come from the same place, so it’s nice that we’re all supporting each other now that we’re up there.” Ed Sheeran recently revealed how his new album is set to have a much more guitar based sound to it.
The Wanted discuss possible Justin Bieber collaboration
The Wanted discuss possible Justin Bieber collaboration

British boyband The Wanted have been enjoying some pretty impressive success in the US and it seems that they may be signing up with Justin Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun, sparking talk of a possible collaboration between the two. The Wanted admitted they were surprised people took to them so well in the US but were pleased that they do not have to change.

Jay McGuiness explained to Closer, “It’s surprising - we thought America would hate us. We don’t wear amazing clothes and we’re quite uncensored in interviews, but they seem to like that. It’s a relief because we’d have to polish our look. Thankfully there will be no American makeover for The Wanted.”
Jay then discussed the possibility of working with Justin Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun, adding, “Nothing’s been signed, but we think he’d be the perfect manager and he’s really keen to work with us. We have a very different image from Justin - but he’s probably the most famous and richest teen in the world, so we wouldn’t mind being in a boy band version of that!”
McGuiness then talked about a potential collaboration with Justin Bieber. He continued, “I wouldn’t say no, but, as a lad I’d prefer to duet with a really hot female. I love Jessie J. In fact, there are loads of talented Brits I’d love to work with, I’m very proud of our music scene.”
Jessie J happy to make The Voice contestants cry
Jessie J happy to make The Voice contestants cry

Singer and judge on the UK version of the hit show The Voice, Jessie J, has revealed that she is happy to make contestants on the show cry. Jessie J claims that she is simply trying to get them to improve and sometimes tough love is the best way.

Jessie J explained to Daily Record, “Contestants have to realise they need to raise their game. I’m not saying it’s easy – I know how it feels to step out on a stage in front of millions of people I don’t know. When I performed on the X Factor last year, I was shaking like a leaf. But it’s got to be done and they need to embrace it.”
She added, “I may make them cry but they always come back the next day and say, ‘Thank you for the tough love – it’s what I needed.’ You’ve got to say to yourself, ‘Look at me. I’m living my dream. I wake up every day and do what I love.’ You’ll never hear me complaining and I never expect to hear my acts complaining either…”
However, Jessie J did admit that she would not be where she is today, if she had auditioned for a reality TV show. She continued, “I feel if I’d auditioned for one of these shows, I wouldn’t be doing what I’m doing today. You have to go through life’s experiences – good or bad – to learn from them.”
The Voice continues on BBC One tonight at 19:00 BST.
Jessie J confirms Tom Jones collaboration
Jessie J confirms Tom Jones collaboration

There has been plenty of talk about The Voice coaches working with each other for some new music in the future and now it seems that two of them are dead set on making that happen. Jessie J has confirmed that she is set to collaborate with her fellow The Voice coach, Tom Jones and that it will happen very soon.

Jessie J explained to More magazine, “Yes definitely. Your career is about moments and things that inspire you, and all three of them are amazing artists. I’d be honoured to work with any of them. I’d love to collaborate with Tom especially, and I think that will happen very soon.”
Jessie J recently confirmed that he next single is set to be LaserLight, which she is looking to officially release in the UK on May 13. Meanwhile, Tom Jones is set to release his 40th studio album, titled Spirit In The Room, which will also be out in May.
Yesterday we released a story claiming that Jessie J had decided to quit The Voice at the end of this season and head off to be a judge on The X Factor. However, if you clicked on the Read More button which we put at the bottom of the story, you would have realised it was an April Fool’s joke.

While it is official that Jessie J has a contract for the BBC show The Voice, it is only for one season and, although she has been enjoying the show, she does not seem to be renewing her contract for a second season, once the current season has finished.

Now, The X Factor creator Simon Cowell has been talking about who he would like to be a judge on both the UK version of the show, as well as the US version and Jessie J’s name has come up more than once. Simon even admitted that he would love to poach Jessie from the beeb.
Well now it seems like Simon Cowell may well have gotten his wish, as it has been reported that Jessie J is set to abandon the BBC and shoot on over to ITV to join The X Factor team. The news is a major blow to the BC who have already lost Strictly Come Dancing judge Alesha Dixon to Simon Cowell.
It is not yet clear whether Jessie J will be judging on the UK version of The X Factor or the US version but she should be clear to join the show for the upcoming new season of either show.

Singer Jessie J is one of the four coaches on the UK version of the reality singing competition The Voice, along with Welsh legend Tom Jones. Jessie has been praising Tom to The Sun and has revealed how shocked she was when he came to her for some advice.

Jessie J explained, “It was really nice that he’s been part of a completely different musical background but he’s interested in knowing about the things that I have to do now as an artist. I’m stepping into something new but he’s also stepping into something new and we’re both coming from different places.”
She added, “All of us are learning from each other. It’s very nice, very humbling, to be accepted by someone like Tom Jones and for him to go, ‘Jessie, how do you think I should sing this bit?’”
It was recently reported that The X Factor creator, Simon Cowell was planning to try and persuade Jessie J to leave the BBC show The Voice and join his show The X Factor over at ITV. However, a BBC insider has stated that it is not possible for that to happen.
The Voice continues on BBC on Saturday night.
Simon Cowell wants Jessie J for The X Factor
Simon Cowell wants Jessie J for The X Factor

The X Factor creator Simon Cowell has revealed how he would love to steal Jessie J away from the BBC show The Voice and get her on his show The X Factor. It has even been claimed that he would be willing to pay her three times more than she gets for The Voice.

Cowell explained, “I love that girl. She’s one of the best things to come out of British music in years. I want to snap her up. We pinched Alesha. In the grand scheme of things that’s fun, that’s not being ruthless. It’s just evening the score. The BBC always said they are not there to compete, which is a complete load of rubbish.”
He added, “They are the most competitive people I’ve ever met. I don’t dislike them for it but you’ve got to be honest. They throw everything at Strictly for one reason only, to beat The X Factor, and they are putting The Voice on to compete with Got Talent. It was only right I did something back to them.”
However, a BBC insider hit back, “The BBC are so thrilled and happy with landing her. They absolutely love her. She is a brilliant person to draw in a younger audience and the BBC won’t take kindly to Simon trying to nick her. She was a brilliant coup for The Voice so Simon had better keep his hands off.”
