Jason Biggs discusses American Reunion nudity
Jason Biggs discusses American Reunion nudity

American Pie actor Jason Biggs is set to appear on the big screen later this month in American Reunion, where he will have his penis on show in one of the scenes. Jason admits that he could have used a double for the scene but chose to do it all himself.

Biggs explained to The Huffington Post, “That was me. That was all me. It’s funny, I guess I understand because there’s all kinds of movie magic, but we made sure that there’s a close up shot - and then we go to a wide shot. So that my face is in it with the penis.”

He added, “You see a full shot so that it’s clear, or more obvious, that it’s my penis. I remember in early cuts I kept telling the directors, ‘I have one note. You have to hold on to that shot longer so that people will know that’s my penis. Otherwise, what’s the point of me doing this?’ The plain truth is, that’s my penis.”

Jason continued, “You know, between There’s Something About Mary and then Jason Segel - and, apparently, he’s doing it again; he just loves flumping his [penis], apparently - and now me and Michael Fassbender last year, yeah, I don’t know. Pretty soon people will become desensitised to it. But I’m glad I’m catching it on the early side, so people still have a little bit of shock,” he joked.

He concluded, “The other thing is, even if people were like, ‘Eh, penis, whatever’, I think they’d still be shocked because it’s Jim’s penis. There’s something about doing it with a character that people have sort of come to know and love over the years. And they’ve come so close - his penis has gotten lots of play over the years - but they’ve never actually seen it.”

American Reunion is released in the US on April 6 and in the UK on May 2.
Jason Segel does not believe in true love
Jason Segel does not believe in true love

How I Met Your Mother actor Jason Segel has revealed that he does not believe in true love. Jason claimed to Parade that he thinks it is more to do with timing and decisions rather than there actually being “The One”.

Segel explained, “I don’t [believe in ‘The One’]. I think relationships are an effort and it’s about timing, an actual decision, and two people deciding they will be the best person for one another. And what happens if you miss the one or they die? Now you are doomed to a life of loneliness? We know that’s not true.”

He added, “I think you want your partner to be your best friend. Even attraction will change. But what everyone’s looking for is a partner in crime.” Jason also admitted that he stays single because he does not want to be in a relationship just for the sake of it.

Segel continued, “I don’t want to have a girlfriend for the sake of having a girlfriend. I have no desire to pick a random girl. I want the right girl. There are plenty of opportunities, but I would rather have the right one.”

Jason Segel can be seen in The Five-Year Engagement, which is released on April 27 in the US and on June 22 in the UK.

How I Met Your Mother actor Jason Segel appears on the big screen with Susan Sarandon in the movie Jeff, Who Lives At Home. Jason has admitted to On The Red Carpet that he often found it difficult on the set of the movie, as Susan was playing his mum and he finds he so foxy.

Segel explained, “Holy moly, the hardest part of this movie was acting like I was not attracted to my mother. She’s so foxy. It was a total honour to get to act next to someone of her caliber.”

He then admitted that he was enjoyed filming Jeff, Who Lives At Home, as it was different from his regular comedy movies. Jason added, “It was exciting for [me] to get to stretch a little bit, you know, you always fancy yourself an actor and it’s neat to see if you’re actually right.

He continued, “What’s great about [Jeff, Who Lives At Home directors] the Duplass brothers, is that they want you to stretch yourself and they want you to be your best and they gave us that opportunity, so I think we’re all really thankful about that.”

Jeff, Who Lives At Home is out now in the US and is set to be released in the UK on May 11.

Jason Segel slams Hollywood egos

How I Met Your Mother actor Jason Segel has revealed to Los Angeles Times how he does not have a lot of time for many of the big egos that can be found in Hollywood. Jason claims that it frustrates him that somebody who is famous thinks they know him, just because he is also famous.

Segel explained, “For some reason, you’re all supposed to know each other. But I don’t know you. I’ve never met you. Yes, I know your name. You’re famous. But say your name. That’s how people interact so we feel like equals.”

He added, “Everyone’s waiting for the moment where I turn into a jerk, and it’s not gonna happen.” He then went on to admit that, in his early career, he struggled to accept praise for his success, something which has learnt to deal with over the years.

Jason continued, “In my 20s, all the characters I played were stunted because I became so scared to even allow myself a pat on the back. Acknowledging my success felt arrogant. But it’s all right to be a confident, self-assured man. I’m growing into that.”

He added, “It looks like people who have known each other for a long time, and I think that’s what makes the difference.” Jason Segel also told Us Weekly that he believes that Hilary Clinton would be great to appear in a comedy movie with.

Segel explained, “It was the best thing of all time. We shot for three months there but the movie takes place in one day. So in addition to this movie having the themes it has, it’s also the slow story of a guy gaining 30 pounds over one day, which I’m really proud of, it’s not easy.”

Jason then went on to admit that they intended to have an honesty about the movie, as well as the comedy element. He added, “The goal wasn’t just to come in and have a joke-fest. It was to come in and really be honest, and that’s why I wanted to do it.”

Blunt explained, “He ambushes me to do projects with him, because he’s literally about two minutes away. I’d have to barricade the street to avoid him, but then I’d get blackmail letters or something.”

Emily then claimed that Jason wrote her role in The Five Year Engagement for her. She added, “He actually wrote the part in the movie with me in mind, or at least that’s what he tells me. He probably told five other girls that!”

Megan Fox wanted Chris O’Dowd in his swimwear
Megan Fox wanted Chris O’Dowd in his swimwear

The IT Crowd actor Chris O’Dowd has come quite a long way in such a short space of time and will soon appear on the big screen alongside Megan Fox, in a swimming pool, which Chris joked was all Megan’s idea. Chris, who is currently engaged to television presenter Dawn Porter, also questioned his current heartthrob status.

O’Dowd explained, “She insisted on the swimming pool scene. She was just very keen to see me in swimwear — and I don’t think she was disappointed. It’s a scene where I fight for her affections at a barbecue. It’s just lucky I didn’t have to wear Speedos. I was in quite high Hawaiian shorts instead.”

He added, “I think it’s really silly for people to think I’m a heart-throb. The character in Bridesmaids was very sweet, so women loved him. I want to know where all these women were when I was 15 and couldn’t get a kiss for love nor money. I chose the wrong year to get engaged.”

Chris concluded, “Dawn jokes that she doesn’t get it. But at the same time she thinks me being a heart-throb is a great craic. In some way it vindicates her own decision, so that’s pleasing.” You can see Chris O’Dowd and Megan Fox starring alongside Jason Segel, Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann in This Is 40, which is released on December 21.

Reilly in the comedy The Dictator, which is released on May 11, 2012 in the US and May 18, 2012 in the UK. Segel explained, “The simplest way I can put it is I just did exactly what they wrote. There was no, like ‘What is my process?’ or discovering the character.” Helms then added, “I’m called upon to improvise a lot in different movies and on ‘The Office,’ and it’s a great joy, but it’s usually about trying to find the funniest beat or the funniest joke.”

He added, “What was really kind of eye-opening, was to improvise the most mundane moments.” Jeff Who Lives at Home also stars Judy Greer and Susan Sarandon and completed filming last year. The movie is set to be released in the US on March 2, 2012 and in the UK on April 20, 2012.

Rhys Ifans praises The Amazing Spider-Man technology
Rhys Ifans praises The Amazing Spider-Man technology

Welsh actor Rhys Ifans has revealed how amazed he is with the advancements of technology following his work on the movie The Amazing Spider-Man. Rhys plays Dr. Curt Connors aka The Lizard and had to spend some time in a green suit for his part as The Lizard.

Ifans explained, “I did have the CGi suit for certain scenes. The Lizard is 9 feet tall. There was one day that I went on set and they had a double, a big big guy, playing me, as the Lizard. I looked at it and I went ‘No.’ Following that Marc [Webb, the director] let me know all the physicality, all the physicality you’ll see in the Lizard is my own.”

He added, “I had a green suit on, and then this cardboard head, and these big claws. Each and every time you see the Lizard, the technology is so advanced now that when the Lizard’s eyes move, they’re my eyes. If I frown or show any emotion, they’re my emotions. That’s how spectacularly advanced technology is.”

Rhys Ifans can next be seen on the big screen alongside Emily Blunt and Jason Segel in the movie The Five-Year Engagement, which is released on April 27, 2012. Meanwhile, Rhys can be seen as The Lizard when The Amazing Spider-Man is released on July 3, 2012.
