Jane Lynch Reveals Cheryl Cole Glee Cameo Is ‘Set To Happen Now’

It looks as though Cheryl Cole could be making a cameo on hit TV show Glee sooner than we think. Actress Jane Lynch revealed that the star’s appearance on the show is “set to happen now.”

Talking to the Daily Star, Jane, who plays Cheerio cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester, revealed that Cheryl is “keen” to make her guest appearance on the show official following the constant rumours of a possible cameo on Glee.

Jane revealed: “There’s been talk on set of Cheryl appearing for a year or so, but it’s set to happen now.”

Adding that the cast are keen to welcome the ‘Call My Name’ star on the show, Jane continued: “Matthew Morrison (Will Schuester) has spoken very highly of her and the younger guys on set are keen to have her on, for obvious reasons. Matthew’s chatted to her and she seems keen.

“Cheryl’s the perfect Glee fit, she can sing, she can dance and she looks good. It would be cool if she played herself.”

However, Jane warned that she would not be giving Cheryl any special treatment on the set, saying: “She might be used to getting treated like a princess but Sue Sylvester doesn’t make exceptions for anybody. If Cheryl starts acting like a diva, she’ll see that Sue is meaner than Simon Cowell.”

Glee guest star Matt Bomer discusses his time on the show

White Collar actor Matt Bomer is set to appear in a guest role, on the hit Fox musical television series Glee. Matt has been talking to TV Line about his time on Glee and what fans of the show can expect from his character.

Bomer explained, “To me, the fun of the role was getting to play somebody who had such strong convictions and opinions about all of the wrong things and in all of the wrong ways. At the heart of it, he really does want to help his brother avoid the slings and arrows of being a young artist.”

He added, “He clearly hasn’t had an easy road of it as an actor. And over the course of that path, he sort of developed his own short cuts and tricks of the trade, which are all horribly misleading and misguided.” He then went on to praise his time working with Glee star Jane Lynch.

Matt continued, “I think Jane sussed out right away that my character was just all over the map, just a complete hot mess. So she said, ‘Matt, on this take, just kiss me on the lips’. I said, ‘Great. You don’t have to ask me twice’. It was nice. She had a lovely lip gloss on.”

Glee continues in the UK on Thursday nights at 9pm on Sky 1.

Carly Craig is not a fan of Valentine’s day
Carly Craig is not a fan of Valentine’s day
Hall Pass actress Carly Craig has revealed how she no longer pays any serious attention to Valentine’s Day, as the whole romanticism of the day has been lost to the consumer holiday it has become. Carly added that the stress levels of the day also made it not worth it.

Craig explained, “To put it bluntly: not a fan. I like the idea of it. It’s supposed to be a day of celebrating love, but it’s somehow become this consumer holiday that has so much stress attached to it, romance goes out the window. I understand the pressures that go along with Valentine’s Day because of my own experience that helped me realize how silly it really is.”

Carly Craig is set to appear in the Farrelly Brothers movie The Three Stooges, alongside Sofia Vergara and Jane Lynch. The Three Stooges is set to be released in the US on April 4, 2012. As for Valentine’s Day, well Carly now makes sure that the day is as much about her as it is her partner.
