Multi talented musician Jack White has revealed how he deeply misses being part of The White Stripes and would have loved to have been in the band for the rest of his life. However, Jack admits that his partner in the band Meg White decided that she had had enough and decided to call time on The White Stripes.

White explained, “I’d be in The White Stripes for the rest of my life. That band is the most challenging, important, fulfilling thing ever to happen to me. I wish it was still here. It’s something I really, really miss.”

He added, “There came a point where I said, ‘If we’re not doing this, we need to put an end to it right now.’ And that’s what she wanted to do. I don’t know what her reasons are. Having a conversation with Meg, you don’t really get any answers. I’m lucky that girl ever got onstage, so I’ll take what I can get.”

Jack continued, “Meg completely controlled The White Stripes. She’s the most stubborn person I’ve ever met, and you don’t even get to know the reasons.” Jack White is set to release his debut solo album Blunderbuss on April 23.

Mean Girls actress Lindsay Lohan has revealed how she no longer likes going out and partying and feels much more comfortable when she is just sat at home. Lindsay has developed a reputation over the years as a bit of a party animal and has been known for her drink and drugs problems but she insists that those days are well behind her now and is aiming to prove herself with her actions rather than her words.

Lohan explained, “Partying is not my thing anymore. I went out, actually, a few months ago with a friend. And I was so uncomfortable. Not because I felt tempted, just because it was just the same thing that it always was before. And it just wasn’t fun for me. I’ve become more of a homebody. And I like that.”

She added, “People can say things all they want, but I think I still need to go through the process of proving myself, you know, with SNL, being on time, being, you know, keeping my - can’t say the word - but stuff together.” You can catch Lindsay Lohan, who will be joined by musical guest Jack White, on Saturday Night Live, which is set to air this weekend on NBC at 11.30/10.30c
