Cheryl Cole has spoken out about her relationship with Simon Cowell in a revealing interview on Radio 1.

The Fight For This Love singer sat down for an hour long interview to promote her new single, Call My Name. And she also confirmed the news that Girls Aloud are planning a reunion for their tenth anniversary.

Asked by host Chris Moyles whether or not she and Simon are still friends following her axe from the US X Factor last year, Cheryl replied: “Yes. Well, frenemies.” But she jokingly added that had always been the case, saying: “Nothing’s changed there.”

Pressed for further details of her brief stint on the show, she said: “If you are asking have I spoken to him since, many times. If you are asking were they interesting conversations, absolutely.”

The 28-year-old said that she didn’t rule out working with Simon again in the future, saying: “I haven’t thought about it, I haven’t had time, I’ve been recording an album!”

On the subject of music, Cheryl also confirmed the news that Girls Aloud fans have been waiting for: “It’s our tenth birthday in November – we all want to do something to celebrate it, so watch out!”

With so much going on with her career, Cheryl said that she isn´t looking for love at the moment: “I’m not interested right now. I’ve not got the time!”

Louis Walsh set to trash Cheryl Cole in new book?

It seems that Louis Walsh cannot let go of the fact that Cheryl Cole criticised his management skills while he was manager of the girl band Girls Aloud. Cheryl claimed that Louis was only in it for the money, which has made The X Factor judge very upset.

Walsh explained to Heat magazine, “What is she peddling this time? Eyelashes or hairspray? It’s definitely not her music! At least I am still on The X Factor and happy to be there. I’m a much better manager than she is a singer. She seems to be in the fashion business now, selling fake hair pieces, fake eyelashes, fake everything.”

He added, “Has anyone ever heard her sing live or a cappella? If she comes back on The X Factor, she needs to sing live this time. I don’t know why she’s started this war with me.”

Louis continued, “I’ve always liked her - she’s a very good looking girl, but obviously not the best singer in Girls Aloud. Nadine is - I always said that. Cheryl is a great clothes horse. Nice girl, but likes to get her own way. I’ve got two words to say: vocal lessons. When I write my book, I’ll tell the real story of Cheryl.”

The X Factor judge Louis Walsh has hit back at former X Factor judge Cheryl Cole regarding recent claims she made about him managing Girls Aloud. Cheryl said that Louis was the Girls Aloud manager by name and was happy to get paid but was never really involved with the group.

Walsh told The Mirror, “As far as I’m concerned, our friendship is over. I’ve no idea why she made these comments but it says a lot about her. I was always the first to defend her on the X Factor, and always watched her back. I thought we were friends.”

He added, “I won’t stand for anyone criticising me professionally and if I was in London right now I’d give her a piece of my mind.” Louis Walsh claims that he was one of the people who stood by Cheryl Cole when she was axed from The X Factor USA.

Louis said at the time, “’I talked to Cheryl today - we’ve been texting all day and we’re having fun. I think she’s going to be fine.” Walsh also previously claimed that he would love for Cheryl Cole to return to The X Factor UK. However, it seems that things may now be a little different.

Kimberley Walsh talks big bums, diet and exercise
Kimberley Walsh talks big bums, diet and exercise

Girls Aloud singer Kimberley Walsh has revealed how, when she was younger, you used to have an obsession with her bum being too big. Kimberley admits that she used to try different diets in the past but now she does not obsess over dieting and finds that her exercise regime is more than enough to keep her feeling fit and healthy.

Walsh explained, “On a day-to-day basis, I feel good in my clothes. No one is perfect, and you shouldn’t expect to be. If you worry too much about how you look, that’s unhealthy. When I was younger I was obsessed about my big bum, but now I’ve accepted it’s part of who I am. I inherited a naturally small waist from my mother, which is a real blessing.”

She added, “I have dieted in the past, but now all the exercise I do keeps me in shape and I don’t worry about monitoring calories. I think dieting is very unhealthy, but if I didn’t exercise I would definitely put on lots of weight.” It was recently revealed by Kimberley Walsh’s Girls Aloud band mate Nadine Coyle that the girl group will be getting back together for a reunion tour.

It seems that all of the former girl bands are trying to get back together for reunions at the moment. There were talks earlier in the year that the Spice Girls were considering a reunion gig but it appears that those plans have now fallen through. Last week it was confirmed that Girls Aloud are reuniting for a reunion tour and now, Natasha Hamilton has confirmed that she is teaming back up with Jenny Frost and Liz McClarnon to reform Atomic Kitten.

Hamilton explained, “We’re really excited about getting back together and singing again. We’ve all been doing our own thing but we thought the time was right to reform. I think it will be fun to go on tour to perform for a whole new generation of fans. A lot of our fans will have kids now so it would be great if they can both come along to watch us and enjoy our music. We’d love to be able to perform for the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations. We’re open to all options at the moment.”

Natasha also hinted that Kerry Katona could join the girls on stage. She added, “I ran into Kerry recently and we just hugged and got on really well. We both have kids around the same age so we talked a lot about them. It was lovely to see her. It would be great if we could all get on stage and sing together.” Who are you most looking forward to seeing return, Girls Aloud or Atomic Kitten?
Nadine Coyle confirms Girls Aloud reunion
Nadine Coyle confirms Girls Aloud reunion

Singer Nadine Coyle has confirmed that she will be teaming back up with Cheryl Cole, Sarah Harding, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts for a Girls Aloud reunion tour next year. Nadine also admitted that, if the response to the Girls Aloud tour is positive, they will also look to release some new music.

Coyle explained, “It’s time to come back. At the end of the year it would have been ten years and it feels like the right time to regroup. I know everyone’s been speculating about what we will do. It will be arena dates at the start of next year and we will have new music to go with it. One or two singles I would think. It depends on how well it goes with the tour announcement. If things work well, there’s enough demand and we’re all in the same head space as a band then who knows what could happen.”

She added, “I’m definitely looking forward to seeing the girls. It’s been a long time since we’ve all been in the same room together. But the truth is there’s no big problem with me and the girls. I’ve been living here [in LA] and not been home much and I have a life here now. I’ve been really worried about Sarah and I’m glad to see she’s getting better. I’m thrilled Kimberley’s doing well on the West End and Cheryl and Nicola are working hard on their music.”

Nadine continued, “Everyone was so keen to put Cheryl and me against each other - but we just weren’t enemies. We are very different people musically, that’s all.” Nadine Coyle confirmed back in October that Girls Aloud would be doing something special for their fans, as it approaches their ten year anniversary.

Girls Aloud singer Kimberley Walsh has revealed that she is happy that she has not had a solo music career and does not intend to pursue one any time soon. While the likes of Cheryl Cole, Nicola Roberts and Nadine Coyle have been off seeking solo success, Kimberley has been following her own path, which has included some television presenting.

Walsh explained, “It’s nice some of the girls have explored their passions through their solo albums but it’s not something I’m looking to do. I’m happy following my own ventures. I love performing, I love acting and presenting. I want to do other things. What I’ve achieved musically with the girls is amazing and I’m happy with that. I applied for Popstars because I wanted to be in a group.”

Kimberley then touched on the rumours of a Girls Aloud reunion, adding, “That would be telling. I’ve read a lot of speculation, which hasn’t been accurate. We’ll tell everyone in good time.” There have been talks of a Girls Aloud reunion for some time now and last year The X Factor judge Louis Walsh claimed that he was certain it would happen in 2012.

So proud of what my girls have achieved @CherLloyd and @RebeccaFMusic are doing so well!!” Cheryl then posted a link to the studio version of Rebecca Ferguson’s new single and added, “Just been watching this… wow.”

One person who was missing from the praises of Cheryl Cole, was her third member of last year’s girls, Katie Waissel. While Cher Lloyd and Rebecca Ferguson have landed major solo deals, Katie has been in the studio, working on a record with her band Red Velvet Lovers but it appears that Cheryl Cole is not a fan of the wannabe singer or her new band.

Cheryl Cole to ditch the hangers-on

It has been reported that the former X Factor judge and Girls Aloud singer, Cheryl Cole is set to let a lot of the hangers-on go. It is believed that Cheryl could be set to sack many members of her security team, her office staff and even her stylists, as she aims to only keep those she truly trusts on board.

A friend of Cole’s explained, “She feels she needs to reduce her circle of trust as she thinks she’s surrounded by too many hangers-on. This includes scaling back her security, office staff and hair and make-up team.” It is a bold move by Cheryl as she attempts to crack the US.

It is believed that Cole has had enough of the leaks about her private being sold to the press and is aiming to plug the leaks. It has also been reported that Cheryl Cole has splashed out a massive $5.5million on a new luxury mansion in Beverly Hills.
