George Clooney Sudan war crimes film
George Clooney Sudan war crimes film

George Clooney took time out of being one of the biggest movie stars in the world recently, to bring attention to the war crimes in Sudan. George went to Sudan to make a documentary about the devastation, which he showed in the US Senate describing the war crimes to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

Clooney explained, “These are not military targets. They are innocent women and children. That is a fact. We found children filled with shrapnel, including a 9-year-old boy who had both of his hands blown off.”

He added, “It is a campaign of murder, fear and displacement and starvation. They are proving themselves to be the greatest war criminals of this century by far.” Senator John Kerry then praised George Clooney for his inspiring work.

Kerry told Clooney, “This is a tremendous example of the best citizen activism.” When the meeting eventually came to an end, George Clooney rose from his seat and walked straight back into his Hollywood lifestyle, being hounded by journalists, paparazzi and people wishing him well. However, his moving film certainly touched a fair few people.

George Clooney discusses his sexuality
George Clooney discusses his sexuality

The Descendants actor George Clooney is one of those people who is always having their sexuality questioned with people often asking ‘Is George Clooney Gay?’. However, George has revealed that he does not care whether or not people think he is gay, as it simply does not matter and people will always say he is gay anyway.

Clooney explained, “I’m not going to make it seem like being gay is a bad thing. My private life is private, and I’m very happy in it. Who does it hurt if someone thinks I’m gay? I’ll be long dead and there will still be people who say I was gay. I don’t give a s**t.” He then went on to discuss marriage equality in the US.

George added, “I’ve made the point that every time we’ve stood against equality, we’ve been on the wrong side of history. It’s the same kind of argument they made when they didn’t want blacks to serve in the military, or when they didn’t want blacks to marry whites. One day the marriage equality fight will look archaic.” George Clooney recently revealed how he never intends to have any children.
Jean Dujardin wins Best Actor Oscar
Jean Dujardin wins Best Actor Oscar

Billy Crystal returned to the stage to introduce Meryl Streep to the stage. Meryl looked as ravishing as ever, as she gave a small talk before going to the latest link of the night. With the link out of the way, the Oscars 2012 went to yet another ad break. After the break we will find out who will win the Best Actor Oscar, as well as the Best Actress Oscar.

The Oscars 2012 returns from its latest ad break, once again a little earlier than anticipated, to Billy Crystal, as the Oscars 2012 took a much more serious tone, remembering those who we have lost in the past year. After taking the serious and emotional turn, the Oscars 2012 took, believe it or not, yet another ad break. On its return, the Oscars 2012 and Billy Crystal returned back to the great form that they have been on all night long.

The 84th Annual Academy then saw Natalie Portman take to the stage to introduce the nominees for the Best Actor Oscar. The Oscar nominees for the Best Actor were Demian Bichir for A Better Life, George Clooney for The Descendants, Jean Dujardin for The Artist, Gary Oldman for Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and Brad Pitt for Moneyball.

While all of the actors did a fantastic job and were all worthy of taking home the Oscar for Best Actor, there, unfortunately, can only be one winner. The winner of the Oscar for Best Actor went to Jean Dujardin for his role in The Artist. Jean Dujardin gave a fantastic acceptance speech, possibly the best of the evening.
George Clooney never wants kids
George Clooney never wants kids

Hollywood actor George Clooney has revealed that he never intends to have any children. 50 year old George, who is currently dating 32 year old Stacy Keibler, claims that he discovered that he should never be a parent, after he had to look after a group of young children and ended up swearing at them.

Clooney explained, “I love the 1962 drama To Kill A Mockingbird and I put it on in my screening room for them, but all the children began complaining it was in black and white and would be boring. So I said to them: ‘Shut the f*** up.’ That’s why I shouldn’t be a parent. I’ve played a parent quite a few times and I worked with a lot of kids on ER. A lot of the child actors had over-moussed hair and one little s**t wouldn’t even rehearse with me.”

George then joked about adopting his 20 year old Descendants co star Shailene Woodley. He added, “I want to adopt Shailene because she’s 20 and smart, and I figure she has a big career ahead and can support me. So, I’m looking to adopt very successful people.” George Clooney will next appear on the big screen, alongside Sandra Bullock in the movie Gravity, which is set to be released on November 21.
Brad Pitt and George Clooney in prank wars
Brad Pitt and George Clooney in prank wars

George Clooney recently revealed how he is currently planning a major prank to pull on fellow Hollywood actor Brad Pitt and it seems that these two have been at it for years. Brad has stated that he started the prank wars, by sending a false memo to the crew on set of Ocean’s 11 and Brad admitted that he already has a follow up prank prepared.

Pitt explained, “I sent a memo to the entire Italian crew, in Italian. [It] said, ‘Dear Crew: We wish you a wonderful shoot. George Clooney asks that, this is a very difficult role for him. He needs to concentrate deeply. Mr Clooney asks that you try not to interrupt him, look him in the eye. If you do need to address Mr. Clooney, please refer to him only as Daniel or Mr Ocean’.”

He added, “I knew that something bad was going to happen by me doing this, so I came up with a second prank. Whatever he’s got, this is uglier. It’s so bad, I don’t even know if I can do it.” Brad Pitt currently has three movies which are set to be released this year, while George Clooney is currently only set to appear in one.
Ryan Gosling talks directing his own movie
Ryan Gosling talks directing his own movie

Drive actor Ryan Gosling has revealed that he would love to one day direct his very own movie but that he feels he still has so much more to learn before he attempts to helm a project by himself. Ryan also admitted that there are still a number of top director’s that he would like to work with before he goes off trying to direct on his own.

Gosling explained, “There’s a lot of filmmakers I want to work with before I make my own films and I’m getting a chance to work with them. I wanted to work with George Clooney because he was an actor turned director and I wanted to see how that was in action. I’m learning a lot from Nicolas (Winding Refn) and Derek Cianfrance (Blue Valentine, The Place Beyond the Pines).”

He added, “I’m just basically trying to treat it as a film school for myself right now before I start making my own films. But, not to undervalue the movies themselves because they’re all movies that I want to do. I want to see those movies, so I’m making them, but I’m also trying to get as much out of them as I can before I transition out of this into that.” Ryan Gosling recently discussed the remake of Logan’s Run, which he is very involved in.

Daniel Radcliffe aspires to emulate George Clooney and Brad Pitt
Daniel Radcliffe aspires to emulate George Clooney and Brad Pitt

Daniel Radcliffe has admitted that he is glad that he can use the fame that is associated with his name to help get small Indie movies made and that he looks up to George Clooney and Brad Pitt in that respect. Daniel claims that both George Clooney and Brad Pitt have set the bar and that he hopes that he can achieve even half of what they have in their careers.

Radcliffe explained, “I now want to make as big a mix of everything as I can, from stage acting to film, and just keep working. What’s lovely is that my fame will really help get a small independent film made, because my name carries bankability at the moment, and it will do for a few more years.”

He added, “If you look at somebody like Brad Pitt or George Clooney, those are guys who have immense fame and do some very successful commercial films, but they balance it by doing stuff they love, that interests them. Both could have gone down just playing romantic leads for the rest of their careers and made a very nice living but they wanted to do different stuff. The majority of Clooney’s career, acting and directing, is what I look at.”

Radcliffe concluded, “If I can achieve half of what he has achieved, I’ll be happy.” Daniel Radcliffe recently revealed how nervous he was about kissing his girlfriend Rosie Coker for the first time. You can next see Daniel Radcliffe on the big screen when he appears in the Indie movie The Woman in Black, which is set to be released on February 3 in the US and February 10 in the UK.

George Clooney says Stacy Keibler would beat him in a fight

George Clooney has revealed that his girlfriend Stacy Keibler would beat him in a fight. The Ides Of March star joked that the former WWE wrestler would have the upper hand over him if they were to have a tussle. ”She’s very tall. She can kick my a**,” he told E! News. The 50-year-old added: “She can take me two out of three falls.”

Former pro ring star Stacy - who has been dating the Hollywood actor since his August split from Italian model Elisabetta Canalis - was known as Super Stacy during her seven-year stint as a wrestler, with her signature move being the Roundhouse Kick. ”She is a nice girl. She really is,” George added.

We recently reported how George Clooney thought about attempting suicide in 2005. He said: “I was at a point where I thought, ‘I can’t exist like this. I can’t actually live.” There has also been some gossip lately surrounding George’s sexuality, since his inability to settle down has been a reoccuring factor since his divorce in 1993. George vowed that he would never marry again and he never has, despite a number of high profile relationships, including Lisa Snowdon, Sarah Larson and Elisabetta Canalis, but none of them worked out.

Hollywood superstar George Clooney is one of those guys, that dresses well, speaks well, is charming, witty and good looking. Add to that, the fact that he has failed to settle down with a person of the opposite sex, following the breakup of his marriage and people can be forgiven for thinking George Clooney is gay.

George Clooney married Talia Balsam in 1989 and the couple divorced in 1993. George vowed that he would never marry again and he never has. George has had a number of high profile relationships, including Lisa Snowdon, Sarah Larson and Elisabetta Canalis but none of them worked out.

Hollywood superstar George Clooney has revealed how he was contemplating suicide after injuring his spine during the making of Syriana in 2005. George claims that he was in such a bad way that he was considering the different and best ways to commit suicide.

Clooney explained, “I was at a point where I thought, ‘I can’t exist like this. I can’t actually live.’ I was lying in a hospital bed with an IV in my arm, unable to move, having these headaches where it feels like you’re having a stroke, and for a short three-week period, I started to think, ‘I may have to do something drastic about this.’”

He added, “You start to think in terms of, you don’t want to leave a mess, so go in the garage, go in the car, start the engine. It seems like the nicest way to do it, but I never thought I’d get there. See, I was in a place where I was trying to figure out how to survive.” Fortunately he thought better of it. George Clooney can next be seen on the big screen in the movie The Descendants, which is released on November 16 in the US and January 27 in the UK.
