Rihanna’s Dad Approves Of Relationship With Chris Brown
Rihanna’s Dad Approves Of Relationship With Chris Brown

Rihanna's father Ronald Fenty has claimed he approves of a reconciliation between his daughter and ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown.

Fenty has claimed that Chris Brown has “matured” since his 2009 assault on Rihanna, stating that he can understand why their fans see them as “the perfect couple.”

Grazia magazine quotes him as saying: “Chris has matured a lot. I think everybody has to put the past behind them. And they seem to have done that. Being a couple is all up to her… I just wish her the best. I hope things will work out.”

He added: “Everyone is entitled to make a mistake. Her fans are hoping it will happen. They see them as a perfect couple.”

Brown recently reached out to Rihanna on Twitter after her beloved grandmother Dolly passed away over the weekend, with the Don’t Wake Me Up singer writing: “Praying for family and the lost loved one. She was like my grandmother. Love you GRAN GRAN! RIP.”

Earlier this year, Rihanna and Chris Brown seemed to put their turbulent relationship behind them after collaborating on two songs together, fuelling reunion rumours. However, we recently reported that the 'Umbrella' hit-maker was furious with him over his fight with rapper Drake. British newspaper The Sun reported that the incident took place in a New York nightclub, sparked by the pair’s rivalry over pop singer Rihanna.

Chris Brown has been left with a bloodied face after an alleged bust-up with rival star Drake and his entourage.

British newspaper The Sun reported that the incident took place in a New York nightclub, sparked by the pair’s rivalry over pop singer Rihanna. According to the tabloid, Chris posted a photo of his injury - which they have published - on his Twitter site, but he later deleted it, along with several comments about Drake and his friends.

The incident happened in a New York club and was apparently started when Chris sent a bottle of champagne to Drake’s table. Drake then allegedly returned the bottle with a note saying “I’m f****** the love of your life, deal with it.”

This sent Chris - whose violent outbursts are hardly a secret - into a rage, and he walked over to Drake’s table to confront him. The brawl that happened as a result had to be broken up by the club’s security and unconfirmed reports suggest that Chris was hit in the face with a bottle during the fight.

Chris later tweeted a message saying: “How u party wit rich n**** that hate? Lol… Throwing bottles like girls? shameonya!”

He later deleted that post, as well as one that reportedly read: “N****s in the bathroom b**ch a** n****s.”

Chris split with We Found Love singer Rihanna in 2009 after a violent row left her with a bruised and bloodied face. Relations between Chris and Rihanna are thought to be improving, though the feud between Chris and Drake has been a long-running one.

Rihanna was apparently furious when she heard about the fight, saying: “You’ve got to be f**king kidding me” - a source told Hollywood Life.

The source continued: “She clearly doesn’t want anyone fighting and especially not over her. She saw the pic Chris tweeted and her face turned upside down. She’s a little distraught over this and hopes both of them are all right.”

Today, it has been alleged that Chris is speaking to police over the fight, which also left his bodyguard and an innocent female bystander with serious head injuries. TMZ reported that neither Chris or Drake are being treated as suspects by police, but rather as “a witness and a victim.”

Lil Wayne & Drake Refusing To Pay $400K Lawsuit
Lil Wayne & Drake Refusing To Pay $400K Lawsuit

Rappers Lil Wayne and Drake are set to appeal a judge order which has demanded that they pay a club promoter a staggering $400,000 (£256,000) for allegedly failing to turn up to a show.

According to court filings obtained by TMZ, the Imperial Entertainment Group (IEG) filed the lawsuit against the Young Money duo accusing them of failing to turn up to an event where they agreed to perform at the nightclub in 2011.

The She Will stars hit back at the allegations and have refused to pay the judgement, arguing that they are not responsible for the cancelled show because they were never even told about it.

They also reportedly claimed that they had not been summoned to court to defend themselves during the lawsuit.

Lil Wayne and Drake have also been said to have filed a counter-lawsuit on the grounds that IEG used an ‘unauthorized third party’ to book them. So the case continues.

Drake has recently been full of praise for fellow stars Adele and Florence Welch, from Florence and the Machine. He explained to Capital FM, “Florence is like one of my dear, dear friends, so supportive of me, and did a great cover of ‘Take Care’. Her album is so phenomenal and I actually sample Florence on my album - nobody really detected that but there’s a little Florence sample in We’ll Be Fine.”

He continued: “I’m a big Adele fan. I think she’s the biggest artist in the world right now so she deserves it.”

Nicki Minaj to be stand-alone superstar

Rapper Nicki Minaj has revealed how she is on a quest to become a stand-alone superstar, after spending time being the other person to other stars. Nicki admitted to Complex that her new album is going to make people stand up and take notice and will move them like no other.

Minaj explained, “My goal the whole time has been for people to see me as a stand-alone artist. I came out with Young Money, the biggest hip hop label in the world at that time. And then it was, ‘How do I branch away from Lil Wayne?’ One of my biggest records was with Drake, Moment 4 Life.
She added, Even with the Super Bowl, it’s Madonna's moment. I'm just sharing in that moment. It's not Nicki Minaj's moment. Nicki Minaj at the Grammys - that’s my moment. I’ve just been constantly on this quest to stand alone.”
Nicki continued, “People keep asking me to kinda like dissect Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded and what it’s gonna be and I’ll never do that. DMX slams Drake and Rick Ross but likes Lil Wayne

DMX slams Drake and Rick Ross but likes Lil Wayne

Rapper DMX has revealed that there is absolutely nothing that he likes about the 25 year old rapper Drake. DMX reeled off a list of things that he dislikes about Drake before moving on to criticising Rick Ross. Once he had finished slamming the two rappers, he then revealed that one person he does actually like is Lil Wayne.
DMX explained, “I don’t like anything about Drake. I don’t like his f**king voice. I don’t like what he talks about. I don’t like his face. I don’t like how he walks, [I] like nothing. I don’t like his haircut… I’m just gonna stop right there.” DMX then went on to have a pop at Rick Ross, claiming that the rapper must be eating a lot more than he should.
He added, “He just talks about eating and [his] girlfriends too much. How much can a n**** eat? Let’s talk about something else. I know, you’ve got a Maybach, you’ve got an Aston Martin… Okay, good for you!” However, it was not all complete negativity from DMX, as he did actually have some nice words to say about Lil Wayne.
He continued, “I’m cool [with him]. We’ve got a good relationship, actually. I’ve got to say, we’re cool.” Rapper Drake was signed to Lil Wayne’s Young Money label back in 2009. We are sure DMX has something negative to say about that.

However, neither has confirmed or denied whether they are dating or not. It is good to see both Nicole Scherzinger and Lewis Hamilton moving on.
Rihanna and Drake dating rumours resurface
Rihanna and Drake dating rumours resurface
It has once again been suggested that ‘S&M’ singer Rihanna and hip hop artist Drake are dating. The couple were first linked to each other back in 2009 and now a source has spoken out about how attracted to each other the musical pair are.
The insider explained, “They are definitely attracted to each other. She’s all about her career, and he wants to date around.” Drake revealed back in 2009, that he felt used by Rihanna after she denied that anything romantic was happening between the two.
Drake claimed, “I was a pawn. You know what she was doing to me? She was doing exactly what I’ve done to so many women throughout my life, which is show them quality time, then disappear. I was like, ‘Wow, this feels terrible’.” Seems like it could just be another false rumour, but you never know.
DMX has beef with Jay Z and Drake
DMX has been talking recently about the stars around at the moment, who he does not like. At the top of his list it seems to be Jay Z and Drake. Talking about Drake, DMX said, “I don’t like Drake. It’s nothing that he did to me, He actually is talented. He’s very talented. Yeah, I don’t like him. It ain’t nothing personal. I don’t like his stuff. He is talented. He has a little wordplay here and there, but when I see him and hear him it’s like — ‘Money, I’m not rockin with that.’ “
He then went on to tell of his beef with Jay Z, which started after DMX bad mouthed the star to a crowd of people. DMX explained, “I’ve not talked to him yet, since but November 12th I had the show and somebody in the crowd was like ‘What’s up with Jay Z' and I was like 'F**k Jay Z’. And it ended up all over the place. So he called Swizz [Beatz], Swizz called me, and he tells Swizz ‘Yoo, why your man dissin me? I was gonna do a song with him’, Coulda, woulda, shoulda. F**king bulls**t. I don’t wanna hear that s**t. And like ‘Yo, can you just get him to say he ain’t mean it’—NO! I’m not saying that.”
DMX then added, “What I did say is if he wanna talk to me, I’m man enough to let him know why it’s ‘F**k You’, but it’s still ‘F**k You’! That’s what it is. I’ll let you know why, I can do that. It ain’t like you gotta worry about me running up on you shooting you. It ain’t that serious. You don’t owe me nothing. But if you want an explanation as to why it’s ‘F**k You’, I’ll be more than happy to tell you why.”
While Jay Z and Drake are working hard in the studio, recording their own material and working on collaborations, it is unsure what exactly DMX is doing, apart from bad mouthing other artists. Neither Jay Z or Drake have responded to the verbal attack from DMX but that is probably because they are too busy making music, earning money and not trying to stir up trouble with other stars.
