Justin Timberlake lands Bogart role in biopic

After the recent nude picture scandal, that never happened we should add, Justin Timberlake turns his attention back to what he does best … no not singing, acting.

The Friends with Benefits star has reportedly signed on to play the music mogul Bogart which will be set in the 1970s and follow his rise to success as he launched the careers of such acts as The Village People and Donna Summer.

Bogart died when he was only 39 years old of cancer and the biopic follows his later career on how he set up his record label Boardwalk Records and then eventually fell to cancer.

This follows Justin Timberlake signing on for the film Fully Automatic which is due for release in 2014 and is still in scripting stage with Warner Brothers.
