It has been reported that Twilight love birds, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, are set to star alongside each other once again, in a new movie together. Robert and Kristen will appear alongside each other in the final Twilight movie later this year, before filming a new movie together early next year.
The movie is currently an untitled project and, as well as Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson being signed up to the cast, the film will be directed by David Fincher (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo). It is expected that the movie will be released late next year or early 2014.
Not a lot is known about the project but it is believed that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will be playing arch enemies in the film, a stark contrast to their previous work together. There are also said to be a few fight scenes involving the two real life lovers.
It will be interesting to see whether filming a movie as enemies will have a negative effect on their relationship or if it will bring Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart closer together. We will just have to wait and see.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo actress Rooney Mara has admitted that she is glad to be having a break from her character Lisbeth Salander before filming for the sequel begins. Rooney claims that, while she thoroughly enjoyed her role in the David Fincher movie, she is pleased to be able to play other characters and work on other films before reprising her role.
Mara explained, “I’m happy to have a little break, but I am eager to revisit her. But, I’m happy to have a break first. For myself, it probably is easier to play a character who is much different, with an accent and who looks different and walks different. I find that much more enjoyable. But, at the same time, I felt like Lisbeth Salander was very familiar to me. We do have a lot in common. I think a little bit of both is good.”
26 year old Rooney Mara has previously insisted that she prefers to play roles, which do not receive as much mainstream attention. You can next catch Rooney Mara on the big screen, when she appears alongside Channing Tatum, Jude Law and Catherine Zeta-Jones, in the Steven Soderbergh movie The Bitter Pill, which is set to be released in 2013.
The has been a lot of questions asked regarding the possibility of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo sequel, following the disappoint of the first movie, which was released in December. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo has been criticised by many and with a budget of $90 million, it has only managed to recoup $61.4 million so far. This has led to more people labelling it as a box office flop.
However, that has not stopped development for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo sequel, which is titled The Girl Who Played with Fire. Sony Pictures have confirmed that development for The Girl Who Played with Fire is moving along nicely and they are not worried by the financial disappointment of The Girl Who Played with Fire. A Sony Pictures spokesperson explained, “Dragon Tattoo continues to do strong business and nothing has changed with respect to development of the next book.”
It is believed that The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo director David Fincher will be back in the director’s chair for The Girl Who Played with Fire and it has also been claimed that he is considering making two sequels, back to back. The Girl Who Played with Fire is current expected to be released sometime in 2013.
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo director, David Fincher has revealed the vision that he had for the start of his Spider-Man movie, which involved killing off Gwen Stacy. David was in line to direct the Spider-Man movie, which eventually saw Sam Raimi helm the project, and admits that he had a very different idea for what the Spider-Man movie should be about.
Fincher explained, “My impression of what Spider-Man could be is very different from what Sam Raimi did or what Sam wanted to do. I think the reason he directed that movie was because he wanted to do the Marvel Comics superhero. I was never interested in the genesis story. I couldn’t get past a guy getting bit by a red and blue spider. It was just a problem. It was not something that I felt I could do straight-faced.”
He added, “I wanted to start with Gwen Stacy and the Green Goblin, and I wanted to kill Gwen Stacy. The title sequence of the movie that I was going to do was going to be a ten minute, basically a music video, an opera, which was going to be the one shot that took you through the entire Peter Parker backstory. Bit by a radioactive spider, the death of Uncle Ben, the loss of Mary Jane.”
David concluded, “Then the movie was going to begin with Peter meeting Gwen Stacy. It was a very different thing, it wasn’t the teenager story. It was much more of the guy who’s settled into being a freak.” The rebooted Spider-Man franchise is directed by Marc Webb and stars Andrew Garfield in the title role. The Amazing Spider-Man is set to be released on July 3, 2012.

James Bond actor Daniel Craig has spoken about his The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo co star Rooney Mara and has praised the actress for her ability to bring her character to life. Daniel also admitted that he knew she would get the part when he screen tested with her.
Craig explained, “I think I knew pretty early on. I screen-tested with her a couple times and I saw exactly what director David Fincher was after with her. If you read the books, she’s just spot on. Rooney herself is actually really rounded and normal, she’s not boring, honestly, but she had to bring this very broken human being to life and she did it brilliantly.”
Rooney Mara is not the biggest of actresses in Hollywood, so it was surprising to learn that she had won the role, considering that Natalie Portman, Kristen Stewart and Carey Mulligan were all interested in the role.
