Another week goes by and yet another Hollywood actor has spoken out about what a great guy Tom Cruise is. Zac Efron has previously stated the he really liked Tom Cruise and Bryan Cranston has praised him for his work. Now, it is the turn of former Home and Away actor Chris Egan, who met Tom at a party and admitted that he was a really nice guy.
Egan explained, “My agent had mentioned me to Tom Cruise. The first big party I went to, Tom Cruise came up to me and said, ‘You’re Chris Egan, aren’t you?’ That made my year. I thought, ‘What a stand-up guy to go out of his way to do that’. He gave me his entire attention; he gives you 100% of himself. You feel like you’re the only one in the room when he is talking to you, he makes you feel very valued.”
Chris then discussed his move from Australian soaps to Hollywood. He added, “There’s no real road map. Everyone’s journey is different. You have to persevere and be willing to put everything in it. You have to stick it out. Also, be careful who you let into your life.” Tom Cruise will next appear on the big screen in Rock of Ages, which is released on June 1 in the US and June 8 in the UK.
Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise must be doing something right, as he is constantly getting praised by his fellow actors, especially for his work on the forthcoming movie Rock of Ages. Previously, Steven Baldwin praised Tom Cruise for his amazing singing voice in Rock of Ages and now his co star Bryan Cranston has spoken out about what a hard worker Tom is and how he is such a great actor.
Cranston explained, “I don’t think there’s any harder working actor in Hollywood than Tom Cruise. He’s a lovely guy and he’s astonishing in this role.” He then continued by adding, “I look at that character that he portrays and I don’t see Tom Cruise. He has taken over this guy.”
It is not just his work on Rock of Ages that has been getting praised though. Recently, High School Musical actor Zac Efron praised Tom Cruise for taking the time to teach him how to ride a motorbike. Does anybody in Hollywood have a bad word to say about Tom Cruise? It does not look like it. You can see Tom Cruise in Rock of Ages when the movie is released on June 1 in the US and on June 8 in the UK.

Breaking Bad actress Betsy Brandt has admitted that she wants to have a more action packed role in the hit AMC series. Betsy plays Marie, who is the sister in law of Walter White, played by Bryan Cranston and she has so far been quite a laid back mellow character.
However Brandt explained, “I throw this out there frequently, but pretty much every year I ask [series creator] Vince Gilligan for Marie to get a gun. I would love to see her get in on the action.” She then added, “At the end of the show, I really just want all of [the characters] to have their journey, whatever that is.”
Betsy Brandt also revealed that Breaking Bad season four will see her and husband Hank, played by Dean Harris, experiencing changes in their relationship. She continued, “He’s just out of the hospital [after being shot] and they’re having a hard time. I think they have their roles in their relationship, and I think him not being the able man that he was is tough on her.” Breaking Bad season four returns to AMC this Sunday.
