Owen Wilson teases Zoolander 2 plot
Owen Wilson teases Zoolander 2 plot

Hollywood funnyman Owen Wilson has been talking about Zoolander 2 and has teased what fans can expect to come from his character Hansel. Owen claimed that Hansel is set to have a facial disfigurement but would not give away too much more than that.

Wilson explained, “There’s been a disfiguring injury. Think Vanilla Sky.” He then added, “The thing about Hansel is he can’t ever imagine himself, so even if he isn’t the number one guy, I think he still carries himself as if he is. He’ll still have that Hansel swagger.”

Zoolander 2 is still currently in the scripting stages but Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller have both confirmed that they will be returning for the sequel. It has also been confirmed that Jonah Hill will also appear in the movie. Zoolander 2 is being directed by Justin Theroux and is expected to be released in 2014.

Ben Stiller, Eddie Murphy, Tower Heist trailer
The first official trailer for the new Ben Stiller movie Tower Heist, also starring Eddie Murphy has finally been released. The comedy crime caper has an all star cast and is set to be a laugh a minute from beginning to end, it also sees Eddie Murphy back to his best.

Tower Heist centres around a group of hard working people, who all work in the same tower block. However, they all end up out of a job and without money after being scammed by a wealthy businessman. So they plan to rob his tower block and steal $20 million.

Tower Heist is directed by Brett Ratner and, as well as Ben Stiller and Eddie Murphy, also stars Tea Leoni, Matthew Broderick and Casey Affleck. Tower Heist is set to be released on November 4 in both the US and the UK. Check out the trailer below.
Busy Ben Stiller
Hollywood actor Ben Stiller must be the busiest man in show business right now, with an endless amount of movie projects in the pipeline. Whether he be starring in the movies, directing or producing, he is set to be very busy for the next few years.

Ben currently has seven movies in production, four of those movies are in post production, with two in pre production, while the seventh is currently at the filming stage. On top of that, Stiller has an incredible 14 movie titles that are currently in development.

If all 14 films get the go ahead, it seems that Ben Stiller will get a respite until sometime around 2014. While it is definitely good news for his fans, and his bank balance, there is always the risk of burning out and nobody wants Ben Stiller to be burnt out before Zoolander 2 has been done and dusted. That’s for sure!
David Duchovny and Tea Leoni split
It has been officially confirmed that Hollywood couple David Duchovny and Tea Leoni have decided to separate. Rumours that the pair had been having difficulties began recently and now a representative for the couple has confirmed that they have split up.

It is not yet known whether Duchovny and Leoni will be getting a divorce as the representative would not release any more details. David and Tea were married on May 6, 1997 and have briefly split before, back in 2008. They have two children together, Madelaine, 12, and Kyd, 9.

David Duchovny is currently starring in the hit TV series Californication, which has been commissioned for a fifth season. Tea Leoni can next be seen on the big screen, when she stars alongside Eddie Murphy and Ben Stiller in Tower Heist, which is released on November 4 in both the US and the UK.
Paramount still uncertain about Zoolander 2
The sequel to the hit comedy Zoolander could still be made but it is still being decided by Paramount whether to sanction the project or not. A script has been written and completed and is now in the hands of Paramount, however they are still stalling on the idea.

Ben Stiller revealed earlier in the year, “It’s kind of coming along slowly, we have a script that we like and we’re just waiting for the studio to figure it out. But I think we all want to do it. We’re raring to go, not quite sure where the studio’s at. Hopefully it’ll come together.”

He also gave a glimpse into Zoolander 2, “It’s ten years later and most of it is set in Europe. I don’t want to give away too much, but it’s basically Derek and Hansel ten years later. Though the last movie ended on a happy note a lot of things have happened in the meantime. Their lives have changed and they’re not really relevant anymore. It’s a new world for them. Will Ferrell is written into the script and he’s expressed interest in doing it. I think Mugatu is an integral part of the Zoolander story, so yes, he features in a big way,” said Stiller.

Paramount had previously rejected a sequel to the Will Ferrell hit 2004 comedy Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, claiming that the budget of the movie would be too high. However, early last month Will Ferrell admitted that is not completely out of the question. Whether a Zoolander 2 will be made remains to be seen but I for one hope that both sequels are made in the very near future.
