Anne Hathaway arguing with Adam Shulman over wedding plans?

It has been reported that The Dark Knight Rises actress, Anne Hathaway has been having some rather serious arguments with her fiancé Adam Shulman, regarding their wedding plans. The fights are said to be so bad that some of their friends are worried that the wedding might be called off.

An insider explained, “Anne’s been in charge of everything from the place settings to the music. But now, she and Adam are fighting over the size of the wedding. Anne wants it to be small and intimate, while Adam’s family has a potential guest list of over 200 people.”

The insider added, “Anne is used to getting whatever she wants so having to compromise with Adam’s family has not been easy. It’s caused a lot of tension in their relationship. She still hasn’t set a date yet.”

Despite these claims, Anne Hathaway recently had her engagement party, where she is said to have had an amazing and fun night. Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman are set to get married in New York but they are not revealing the exact venue until nearer the time. That’s if it still goes ahead.

Anne Hathaway is set to wed her longtime boyfriend, Adam Shulman, after he recently proposed.

The Devil Wears Prada star has been dating 30 year old Adam since 2008, and was recently spotted wearing a diamond ring on her engagement finger during a day out in Brooklyn, New York, on Sunday.

Now her spokesperson has confirmed to People.com that the pair are engaged after Shulman popped the question recently. Hathaway recently admitted she had vowed to avoid men after breaking up with Italian real estate developer Raffaello Follieri, who was convicted of fraud in 2008 - but she “fell in love like a fool” after meeting fellow actor Shulman. Follieri pled guilty in October 2008 to defrauding investors of millions of dollars in a shocking scheme in which he posed as a real estate consultant for the Vatican.

Hathaway has received praise recently from Michelle Pfieffer for her acting abilities and Pfieffer admitted that she believed Hathaway will make a great Catwoman: “I think Anne is going to be amazing. She has the darkness and the comedy, she’s got it all. She’s going to be great.”

Let’s hope that Anne Hathaway’s marriage lasts longer than Kim Kardashian’s, or any of the othe celebrities who appeared in our shortest celebrity marriages feature.

Anne Hathaway hits Wimbledon with Adam Shulman

Hollywood actress Anne Hathaway spent some quality time with her latest boyfriend Adam Shulman today (Saturday July 2) as they attended Wimbledon for the final of the women’s singles. Anne and Adam have been dating for around two and a half years and looked happier than ever.

Hathaway and Shulman were sat near one of the all time tennis greats, Billie Jean King as they attended the All England Lawn Tennis Club. They were treated to a very one sided final as Petra Kvitova of Czech Republic beat Maria Sharapova of Russia in straight sets.

Anne Hathaway is currently in the process of filming scenes for the new Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises. Hathaway will appear in the movie as Selina Kyle aka Catwoman and Anne recently admitted that she would be wearing the Catsuit for the role. The Dark Knight Rises is set to hit cinemas on July 20, 2012.
