Kate Middleton following the Dukan Diet?

It has been reported that the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton has been following the world famous Dukan Diet. Kate joins a number of celebrities and famous faces, who have been following the Dukan Diet for years but not everybody is convinced that it is the safest diet to follow.

The Dukan Diet works in four phases. The first two phases aim to help you lose the weight and the second two phases help you to keep the weight off. However, some experts believe that the Dukan Diet is not a nutritionally sound diet.
 
The Dukan Diet cuts out dairy products, fruits and whole grains. This means that the body is missing out on vitamin D and calcium from the dairy products, as well as some important disease battling components found in fruits and whole grains.
 
Still, Kate Middleton, along with a number of other famous people, including Jennifer Lopez and Gisele Bundchen, swear by the Dukan Diet. The Dukan Diet compared to the Atkins Diet has a few similarities and is just as famous. However, both diets have their critics.
