Darius Danesh aka Darius Campbell lands US TV deal

He was the man that made headlines with his unique performance of the Britney Spears song Hit Me Baby while auditioning for the UK singing competition Popstars. Back then he was known as Darius Danesh but he has since changed his surname to Campbell but he is still the same determined man he was all those years ago.

Darius proved that he was not someone to take no for an answer, as her returned to television for another singing competition in Pop Idol. Again Darius failed to win the show, however he did go on to have a number one hit with his single Colourblind. The Scotsman then went on to perform on the West End stage in the shows Chicago and Guys And Dolls.
 
Now, Darius Campbell has made another impressive step which has surprised many but is nothing less than he has believed he could achieve in life. Darius has landed a role in the upcoming US television series Beauty and the Beast, where he will play a mercenary bodyguard. Beauty and the Beast will be shown on ABC and has been described as a new twist on the classic tale.
