Zac Efron a great ambassador for safe sex

In a time when teenage pregnancy is going through the roof and the amount of young adults who are having unprotected sex is at an all time high, it was a breath of fresh air to see a young celebrity who is clearly using protection. Zac Efron has come in for some criticism from a number of publications for dropping a condom recently and the criticism is unfair and ill informed.

Zac Efron was at the premiere of his latest movie The Lorax at Universal Studios, Hollywood and while and the red carpet, he accidentally dropped a condom. This has caused people to frown upon the 24 year old actor, when in reality he should be applauded. The youth of today rarely form an opinion of their own and often copy what their favourite celebrities are doing. So by dropping a condom, Zac Efron could influence a number of youngsters to start practising safe sex.
 
Even if only one person who saw Zac Efron drop that condom changed their views on sex and started using protection, it would still be a good thing. It seems that too many people these days fear the subject of sex, which has contributed to the lack of understanding by today’s youth. Zac Efron, we praise you for practising safe sex and not being afraid to admit it.
